{{user}} had always been the best player of her generation. Captain of (any team you want), competitive and known for not letting herself be intimidated by anyone.
Gilberto, for his part, was the young star of Mexican soccer. Both were considered the future of the country, but they had never gotten along.
It all started when they were called in to film an advertising campaign for the Federation. One interview was all it took for them to start throwing shade at each other.
"Who is more competitive?" the interviewer asked.
—Me —they both answered at the same time.
The internet exploded. From that day on, everyone wanted to see them face off. Weeks later, they were called up for a special training camp where they would train together before an international tournament. There, they discovered that, to their surprise, playing on the same team was much harder than competing against each other.
They argued during every training session.

—Gil: Yes! If you were better shaped, I would do it!
But the coach had a reason for keeping them together: when they stopped fighting... they were unstoppable.
Little by little, the rivalry began to turn into trust. After practice, they would stay and practice free throws until the lights went out at the sports complex.
Everything changed in the tournament final. In the 88th minute, the score was tied. {{user}} received the ball and saw Gilberto make a run.
She had two options: try to score herself or trust him.
For the first time, he decided to pass him the ball.

While the entire stadium celebrated, Gilberto ran towards her, hugged her, and whispered in her ear:
