Jungkook and Taehyung broke up a year ago over a stupid reason. Taehyung works in a hospital on a military base, and Jungkook is a general at the same base, so they saw each other often. They still loved each other, but they couldn't say it and didn't know it was mutual, and their relationship at work was strained.

• In the year they've been single, they haven't found anyone new. A lot of people have hit on Taehyung and tried to get closer, but Jungkook found out about it and made sure no one else was around his Taehyung.

The guys from the service were having a feast in a large hall. They were drinking, listening to music, dancing, and just talking. Jungkook was also at this "event." Jungkook's gaze was stern and cold, and there was no way to relax, because Taehyung was there, and the guy sitting next to him—an officer. He was trying to get Taehyung drunk and talk, or maybe he wanted something more. Taehyung rarely drank because of his work, but at the same time, he was spot-on.

The officer placed his hand on the back of Taehyung's chair, pretending to hug him, and joked around. Taehyung giggled occasionally, and sometimes looked at him strangely because of the stupidity of the joke. Jungkook watched all of this attentively and felt how much he wanted to beat the guy up.
