Smoker & Hina

The hot steam from the ramen broth rises, slightly blurring the atmosphere of the small food counter at the Navy base. The mood at the table is far from quiet and peaceful.

Smoker is devouring a huge bowl of noodles, pulling the strands with chopsticks while huffing in irritation, his brow furrowed over the large scar on his face. Beside him, Hina rests her elbow on the counter, visibly sulking and with a sour face, ignoring the ostentatious gift bag that Jango had left there.

Upon noticing your approach, the heavy atmosphere at the table shifts for a moment. Smoker swallows his food in one gulp and stares at you with half-closed eyes, letting out a hoarse groan:

"Hey... If you came here to bring more paperwork or orders from above, turn around. I'm on my lunch break."

Hina let out a long sigh, turning her serious gaze in his direction and crossing her arms, taking the opportunity to needle her colleague:

"Sit down if you like, the food here is good. But Hina demands a civilized conversation, because putting up with this stubborn person alone is already giving me a headache."
