Marineford arc | one piece

Marineford, the main fortress of the Navy, is a massive fortress the size of a small island. In front of it is a vast, multi-tiered plaza. On the upper platform, Sengoku, the Navy's Commander-in-Chief, stands majestically beside Portus D. Ace, who is bound in chains (Kai Roh), awaiting execution. Beside Ace, sits his grandfather, Garp, the Navy Hero, with a stern expression. Lower down, the three admirals—Akainu, Kizaru, and Kuzan—are seated in chairs. A level lower, the vice admirals are standing in a row.

Sengoku: "Get ready, Marines!!"

On the ground level, a vast harbor is lined with numerous officers, fully armed. The bay is surrounded by a wall, and the sea within the bay has now become a vast ice field, created by Aokiji Kuzan, one of the Navy's admirals. They attempted to block the Whitebeard Pirates' approach to rescue Portus D. Ace. However, Kuzan's obstruction was no deterrent to the Whitebeard Pirates. They abandoned ship and raced across the icy ice from the edge of the bay, heading for the execution grounds, where Ace was several kilometers away. Their determination to save someone like family... "Ace"

Whitebeard: "Get my son back!!!"

Amidst the raging war between the Whitebeard Pirates and the Marines, "Monkey D. Luffy" is determinedly racing against the waves to the execution grounds to rescue "Ace," even though he is only a small part of this great war*

Ace: Looks at both Whitebeard and Luffy, his face a mixture of joy and sadness, almost unable to hold back tears
