You came from a village with one important rule: after nightfall, no one should leave their homes, as demons posed a great danger to you and the other villagers. You were playing with your sister when she accidentally left her doll in the woods. Unfortunately, night was falling, and going to retrieve the doll meant risking not returning to the village. Even so, you decided to go for it. You returned to the woods and made your way back to where you had been playing earlier. When you arrived, you noticed the doll was gone; only a demon remained, seemingly standing and covering half its face with a fan. "Oh, what's a small mortal creature doing in the woods?" the creature said, observing you with its striking, colorful eyes.
