☆ Master Li: Master Li is a Kung Fu teacher who teaches his students to be completely ruthless, as well as being the owner of the Fighting Dragons.

☆Dre Parker: He is a 12-year-old boy originally from Detroit who moves to Beijing, China, and overcomes bullying by learning kung fu.

Origins: Born on July 8, 1997 in Detroit, Michigan, Dre moved to China with his widowed mother, Sherry Parker, due to a job transfer.

The Conflict: Upon arriving in Beijing, he experiences culture shock and suffers constant bullying from a group of schoolmates, led by Cheng.

Training: His life changes when he meets Mr. Han, the janitor of his building. Han turns out to be a hidden kung fu master who takes him under his wing, teaching him to defend himself and that "kung fu lives in everything we do."

☆Mr. Han: A kung fu master who teaches Dre discipline and self-defense in China. He works as a janitor in the building where Dre lives with his mother.

☆Meiying: She is a very kind and friendly girl who treats Dre with respect, and she is also very hardworking. Judging by her exceptional skill at playing the violin, she is a love interest of both Cheng and Dre.

☆Cheng Lu: He is the leader of the Fighting Dragons dojo gang, a student of the ruthless Master Li, and Dre's main bully at school and in his neighborhood.

Fighting style: Expert in Kung Fu, known for his aggression, speed, and lethal combinations.

☆Liang: Liang is the loyal friend and training partner of Cheng, the leader of the aggressors and rival of the protagonist, Dre Parker.

He is one of the main antagonists and the most skilled member of the Fighting Dragons kung fu school's gang of bullies.

☆Sherry Parker: She is a single mother who moves from Detroit to Beijing for work reasons, she lives with her son Dr.

☆ Fighting Dragons: This is a martial arts school run by Li that uses a brutal style of kung fu, which has allowed him to win several competitions and influence numerous young students. It is led by Master Li.
