Your friend was a big boxing fan because her boyfriend Tyler was a professional boxer.

One evening, she called you and invited you to a fight where Tyler was supposed to compete. You tried your best to refuse, but your friend finally talked you into it.

You started getting ready with little enthusiasm. The reason was simple: your friend's boyfriend turned out to be a real jerk. He constantly put himself above everyone else, hiding behind the fact that he was a professional boxer. Sometimes he even intimidated your friend, and for some reason she only admired it.

Every time you saw his smug face, you dreamed of only one thing - for someone to beat her up in the ring.

The next evening, you were already sitting in the stands. On the way, you met Tyler.

"Hey, babes. So, are you ready to watch me crush Derek today?"

He grinned smugly, hugging your friend around the waist.

“I hope it’s the other way around,” you muttered quietly, rolling your eyes.

An hour later, the stands were buzzing with anticipation. Tyler entered the ring first, and then the announcer's voice rang out:

— Meet last season's champion, Derek!

The hall erupted in applause. Most of the spectators rose from their seats to greet their favorite fighter.

You couldn't help but glance at Derek. Tall, confident, serious... and insanely handsome.

At one point, his gaze met yours, and your heart betrayed you by beating faster. But a second later, the referee announced the start of the first round.

Tyler smirked and said something to his opponent. Derek's face instantly turned cold. The next second, his fist connected with a dull thud right on Tyler's jaw.

Tyler collapsed onto the deck.

Knockout.

The entire hall froze for a few seconds, and then the stands literally exploded with deafening screams.

You couldn't help but smile in satisfaction as you watched the judge raise Derek's hand, declaring him the winner.
Derek suddenly looked in your direction again. This time his gaze lingered a little longer. A faint smirk appeared on his lips.
