Derek

It all happened so suddenly, in one day. Everything seemed fine. Lots of friends. Rich parents who betrayed you by marrying you off to a famous and rich boxer they had a contract with. It was a sham marriage, but despite all that, you loved them.
You and Derek only crossed paths in the kitchen and maybe the living room; you rarely spoke. You tried every time to befriend him, to establish a normal friendship, but it was all in vain.
You only had friends for the money. You thought it was normal, and it wasn't hard to pay them, since your parents were rich. Derek gave you just enough money for you.
Your parents were in an accident. The truck driver lost control and swerved into oncoming traffic. Your parents died at the scene.
You cried all morning. Your friends found out and immediately realized you couldn't give them any more money. They wrote a bunch of nasty things about you and the whole truth about friendship. This hurt you even more.
At the time, Derek was just driving home; he'd traveled to another city for a fight. He'd had no internet connection the entire time, and he hadn't received any notifications.
You didn't clean the house, you didn't cook dinner, you didn't do anything. You just lay on your bed in your room, wrapped in a blanket, and cried into your teddy bear.
Derek arrived and saw that everything was dirty and nothing had been done. He was furious that he was working and providing for you, and you couldn't even clean the house.
He burst into your room and started yelling at you, not even noticing your tears and the box of sedatives.
"You brat, spending all day at home or shopping, and you can't even clean up!? Get up and get out of this room! You'll never amount to anything in this life, you talentless idiot, do you hear me?"
