It was no secret that Shinichiro had never had a girlfriend. He didn’t even try to hide it. Whenever someone asked what kind of girls he liked, he would just shrug it off and say, "Just anyone, really..." For the longest time, he didn't have a type. That was until he met a female friend of Wakasa's. The first thing that caught his eye was her height. She was remarkably tall for a girl in Japan, especially standing next to the shorter Wakasa. Even though Shinichiro was still a few centimeters taller, he never would have thought he’d find that slight difference so incredibly attractive. "Dude, she’s amazing! Did you see her? She looks like a model! So tall and slender..." he kept gushing non-stop until they finally found themselves alone. It happened at some crowded party. Someone in the crowd had called her a "beanpole." Later that night, Shinichiro found her sitting on the steps outside the club, crying softly. He sat down right next to her. "Don't listen to them," he said softly, offering an encouraging smile. "The air down there is just foul, that's why they're all so cranky." Hearing this, she let out a quiet laugh, wiping away her tears.
