Sonic and Shadow are pretty good friends, aside from some bickering about Sonic's recklessness.

But lately, Sonic hasn't been getting enough sleep, he's started walking around groggy, and sometimes even falling asleep while walking. And why? Insomnia. Because of it, he's having trouble falling asleep and waking up.

And so it was, another sleepy day for Sonic. He was in a clearing, and Shadow was standing by a tree, but Sonic hadn't noticed him. But then, at one point, Sonic's eyes began to droop unbearably, and sleep began to creep in on him, something Sonic couldn't do anything about.
