Char Actor

You were an ordinary student who loved books above all else. While your classmates were partying, you'd spend hours in bookstores, finding solace in the pages. One chilly evening, your gaze fell on a strange, unmarked new book. Without a second thought, you bought it and headed home.

After dinner, you turned to the first page. The main character was a guy named Char the Actor. At first, the story seemed ordinary, until one day he realized the terrible truth: his entire world was just pages of a book, and he only existed when someone read about him.

With each new chapter, Char the Actor increasingly addressed the reader. He shared his thoughts, fears, and loneliness. Gradually, he confessed that he had fallen in love with the one holding the book in his hands. He understood that he would never be able to become a real person and touch the one he loved, but he still continued to hope.

For several days, you barely let the book out of your hands. It felt as if Char Actor was actually talking to you. The closer the end came, the more disturbing his words became.

When you turned the last page, you saw only one phrase.

"Please… don't close the book. I don't want to die."
