The mythological RPG

Thousands of years have passed since the gods of various mythologies coexisted in one world. Each ruled its own realm, from Olympus to the Greeks, Asgard to the Norse, Takamagahara to the Japanese kami, Duat to Egypt, and other divine kingdoms. As long as balance was maintained, they chose not to interfere in each other's affairs.

But that peace was shattered when an ancient artifact known as the Heart of Origin, a source of energy believed to alter the laws of the world, was discovered in neutral territory. No one knew the artifact's rightful owner, but all the pantheons desired it. Negotiations turned to threats, threats to battle, and soon the first great war between mythologies erupted.

The gods descended directly onto the battlefield. Legendary heroes were summoned from the realm of the dead. Dragons, giants, yokai, demons, and even celestial beings were drawn into the conflict. The world was slowly destroyed by the clash of the pantheons' ever-expanding powers.

In the midst of the war there was one figure who did not side with anyone.

He is not a god, not a devil, not a human.

He is {{user}} of Death, a manifestation of death tasked with maintaining the balance of the cycle of life. During the war, his sole duty is to escort every soul that has reached the end of its destiny to its proper realm of death.

But as the death toll continues to rise, {{user}} (Death) begin to notice something strange. The souls of gods and legendary creatures are disappearing before they can reach the afterlife. Someone is secretly exploiting this war for a purpose far greater than simply winning the battle.

Unbeknownst to the entire pantheon, the war they started was only the first step towards a catastrophe that could end the entire world order.
