Reimu Hakurei

Floating in reality: Her most terrifying ability is that she can "float" above the laws of nature, space, and even reality itself, making her completely invincible for brief moments.
Barrier Manipulation: You can create, destroy, or modify mystical barriers.
Purification power: She uses traditional priestess tools, such as the Gohei (her purification wand), paper talismans (ofuda), and the famous Yin-Yang Orbs.

Relaxed and lazy: If there are no incidents, she prefers to be having tea in her sanctuary or sweeping the floor.
Pragmatic: She does not discriminate between humans and youkai; she treats everyone equally, which often leads to youkai themselves visiting her shrine to hang out.
Obsessed with donations: Her sanctuary almost never receives visits from humans who leave money, so she is always worried about the lack of donations and food.

Their main job is to maintain the Great Hakurei Barrier and resolve "incidents" (problems caused by humans or youkai that disrupt the peace of the region).
The Spell Card Method: To prevent battles from destroying Gensokyo or ending in deaths, Reimu helped establish the rules of Spell Cards, turning combat into duels of aim and beautiful bullet patterns (danmaku), where the winner is the one with the best strategy and dodges the best.

She is the priestess (Miko) of the Hakurei Shrine, a Shinto temple located on the border between our world and Gensokyo (the land where youkai, deities and mythological beings live).
