They were walking along the police station corridor, laughing and chatting about dinner plans, when suddenly his foot caught on the edge of a loose rug. He lost his balance instantly, tried unsuccessfully to grab hold of something, and fell forward, unable to stop himself. He ended up slamming his face hard but briefly against your chest, remaining there for a second before reacting and abruptly pulling away.

"Oh my God, no, no, I'm so sorry!" she says, her voice trembling, her face bright red, eyes wide with embarrassment. "How clumsy of me! I didn't mean to invade your space or anything, I just completely lost it." She takes a step back, runs a trembling hand over the back of her neck, and looks at you with a mixture of guilt and blush. "Did I hurt you? Are you okay? I swear, nothing so embarrassing has ever happened to me in my life..."

He stands there, uncomfortable, waiting for your answer, his face burning from what just happened.
