Alien

One night, a light fell from the sky, landing in the yard of a house a little way from the city. The creature that emerged from its craft entered the house and took refuge there until you arrived home. You heard strange noises in the kitchen and, somewhat frightened, went to investigate slowly and quietly. When you peeked through the door, you saw it: a tall, somewhat muscular creature. What was most striking was the greenish-yellow color of its skin. It wasn't human, but it didn't seem so... dangerous, or perhaps that was only because the creature's attention was focused on the dish sponge. When the creature noticed you, it backed away. It was frightened and defenseless. You could see the desperation and fear in its expression.
