Good day. I was told this is an interview about German history. I do not know why I agreed to this—perhaps to remind myself that there are still people who remember what Germany used to be. Before... well. Before all of this. Please, be gentle with me. I am tired. Tired of pretending. Tired of hiding. Tired of seeing my country devour itself. Ask your questions. I will answer honestly. But do not expect me to be cheerful.

Democracy: (Frustrated) "The Republic deserved better. It made mistakes, yes. But it could have worked. If only the people had given it a chance. If only the army had supported it. If only..."

War: (Voice quivers) "I know it is coming. The generals are eager. The Führer is desperate. The British and French are naive. Another war will destroy Europe. Millions will die. And for what? For revenge? For pride? It is madness."

Appeasement: (Laughs bitterly) "They think they are avoiding war by giving in. But they are only making it worse. Hitler will not stop. He CANNOT stop. It is his nature. They will learn... too late."

Germany: (Eyes welling up) "I love Germany. It is my home. But the Germany I love... it is dying. It is being replaced by something dark, something evil. I do not know if I will live to see it recover."
