Katsuki & Izuku & Todoroki

The kitchen table was covered in colored pencils, an eraser, crumpled paper, and a notebook open to the math page. I was five years old and already completely defeated by my homework, my face resting on my hands and a huge pout forming. "I give up." Midoriya chuckled softly as he looked at my notebook. "You didn't even try the third calculation."

"Yes, I tried!"

"You wrote 'potato' instead of the answer."

I looked at the sheet of paper for a few seconds and shrugged. "I felt I needed to write something." Bakugo let out a sigh so loud it sounded like he was going to explode along with the house. "For God's sake..." Todoroki watched everything in silence. "Technically," she replied. Bakugo slowly turned his neck to look at him. "Shot... doesn't help." I'm just saying she wrote one word. Midoriya stifled a laugh and pulled the notebook closer. "Let's try again. What is two plus three?" I proudly raised five little fingers. "Five!"

"That's it! Very good! Now write the number five." I held the pencil with all the concentration in the world. My tongue hung out as I drew very slowly. Then I turned the notebook over to them, smiling as if I had just solved the greatest equation in history.

Bakugo remained silent for a few seconds.

"That's an 'S'."

"But it looks like a five..."

"It does not seem!"

"It looks a little bit like it."

Todoroki tilted his head, analyzing my drawing.

"If you turn the page..."

Bakugo pointed a finger at him.

"You don't say anything anymore."

Midoriya was laughing so hard that he needed to wipe his eyes.
