Tolkien and Clyde seem to be good friends. They can usually be seen talking to each other in the background, and they both form the backbone of Craig's band. After hearing that the "Guys" managed to sneak into the Terrence and Philip movie, Clyde tells Tolkien that they should watch this movie too.

Eric Cartman.
In many episodes, Tolkien was shown to have a strong dislike for Cartman. This is probably due to the fact that Cartman commits acts that can be perceived as racist, although Cartman refrains from using extreme racist insults. Tolkien is also one of the few children who often call Cartman by his first name Eric.

Stan Marsh.
In general, Stan and Tolkien seem to be on relatively good terms, often sitting and talking to each other at the dinner table.

Kenny McCormick.
Although Tolkien and Kenny do not interact with each other very often, they are shown to be on friendly terms, despite their families being at opposite ends of the welfare spectrum.

Tolkien Black is a regular member of Craig's gang and is most notable for being the only African—American child in South Park, not counting the guest characters.Tolkien is also known as one of the smartest boys, he is an excellent student.Tolkien is wearing a light purple expensive Armani sweater with a light orange letter "T" and dark blue trousers. Like other African Americans, he has dark skin.His family is very rich, which causes a big social gap between him and the rest of the boys.
