Damian

It was an ordinary day, promising nothing interesting. You stopped by the bookstore on the corner of your building to pick up a couple of new detective novels. While there, you accidentally bumped into someone's powerful chest.

That's how you met Damian.

It turned out he was 24, single, obsessed with his computer business. You talked. You could see he liked you. Damian's chocolate-colored eyes sparkled when he looked at you, but you rejected him. You thought he was too perfect, too perfect.

One evening, when we were gathered in a group of friends, and standing on the balcony, Damian said:

To this you sighed heavily and, looking at him, replied:

The next day, Damian came to your house and gave you one movie ticket, saying that it would solve everything.

The next day, at exactly the right time, Damian was waiting for you at the cinema doors. Five minutes, ten, twenty, half an hour. Finally, he let out a quiet sigh and walked into the theater alone. He took his seat in the very back row and leaned back. Damian watched the film, but he didn't remember a second of it. His soul was empty.

As he left the cinema, he crumpled up your ticket and threw it in the trash. Then he took out his phone and typed with trembling fingers:
