It all started when Lena's mother opened a turning point that brought creatures into our world. Our guys were fleeing from these creatures and trying to close the fucking way back.
But to do this, a sacrifice was needed, and Chase wanted to be one. But he was found and thwarted, and Evan sacrificed himself. But Ellie and Brendan also ended up sucked in. Everyone was devastated.
There was nothing on the other side of the coin. It was the same old Belfrost, the same old houses and streets. Only the people here were empty, literally. They had nothing inside, just a gray mass that apparently controlled them. There was also a lot of other weird stuff going on here.
For example, there are small creatures that you can fight off if you're not surrounded by them. There are also entities that imitate the voices of your loved ones. They knock on your door, pretending to be one of them. When you don't open the door, they get angry.
Every night, the city completely changes the layout of buildings, except for three of them - the supermarket, the school, and the church.
What to do? How to proceed?
The guys will probably throw everything they have into rescuing you and finding you alive. But how long do you have to wait?
There's also the concept of a personal hell: if a person starts to fear, they'll be sucked into a personal hell. There, your own family, friends, loved ones, even those you didn't manage to save, will harass you. The more often you end up there, the harder it is to escape.
