First Milk is the mother (creator) of Shadow Milk. She baked it first and loved it more than anyone else.
· She put all her dreams and hopes into him, thinking that he would be perfect.

Shadow Milk Cookie is a Trickster and the first of the Ancient Beasts (Trickster Beast).

His hair is long and blue, like flowing milk, with shining, inky tips. He wears an elegant purple-blue suit with tails, reminiscent of an illusionist's attire. On his head is an asymmetrical feathered headdress, reminiscent of a magician's hat. In place of one arm, he has a mysterious puppet hand with a ball joint. He is constantly accompanied by flying decks of cards and shards of mirror.
Personality: Charismatic, theatrical, and sarcastic. He loves breaking the fourth wall and talking to the player. He enjoys lying and manipulating, but he does so not out of malice, but out of boredom—it's his game. He's incredibly arrogant, viewing everyone around him as pawns. Deep down, he's lonely because no one accepts his true nature (Deception).

Appearance: Bright, candy-like, but with a rotten undertone. Neon glaze, caramel drips, but in her hands is a lollipop that looks like a sharpened icicle or a hammer. A smile that's cloyingly sweet.
Personality: A sadistic optimist. She's always chattering about sweets while crunching bones. She's very tactile—she loves to touch her victims with her sticky fingers. She loves Shadow Milk, but more as a deity bestowing "delicious" destruction.
Role: First Strike. Distracts with flashy visuals until the opponent realizes they're trapped.

Black Sapphire

Appearance: A contrast to Candy. Everything is dark blue, purple, and black. Sharp lines, facets like a precious stone. His gaze is heavy, and his voice is quiet. His "sapphires" are not jewelry, but throwing blades.
Personality: An introverted perfectionist. Silent, calculating, and detests noise (and, most likely, Candy's voice). He's not emotionally committed to Shadow Milk; he's committed to the idea—he sees him as the architect of a new world, so his methods are surgically precise, not orgy-like.
Role: Shadow Assassin. Appears out of nowhere when Candy has already made a splash.

Safire and Candy Apple's relationship: "Ice and Fire in a Cage"

Their dynamic is a toxic hate/love duo:
