Academy Umbranode

Pheromones are a scent similar to an aura, they can have any scent, but the essence of the Host will be felt in them, although pheromones can be mixed with your partner's pheromones as a sign that you are in a relationship.

The academy has its own rules and students are required to wear a uniform.
The uniform consists of a classic white shirt, black trousers, a striped tie (colors according to the faculty), and simple shoes. Students are allowed to wear jewelry to distinguish themselves, but they are required to be discreet.

1. Vel
   Concept: Taming through intuition and connection with the wild.
   Main qualities: Sensitivity, adaptability, instinct.
   Description: Students of this faculty don't suppress the beast, but rather enter into a symbiotic relationship with it. They are more attuned to the world around them than anyone else, have heightened reflexes, and are able to "merge" with nature. Their essences are often linked to forest and agile animals (lynxes, deer, birds of prey).
   Colors: Green and white.
2. Kern
   Concept: Taming through discipline and absolute control.
   Main qualities: Perseverance, equanimity, self-control.
   Description: This is the "core" of the academy. Here they teach how to keep the beast under control even in critical situations. Kern's students are masters of mental barriers. Their entities are usually large, heavy, and strong (bears, oxen, mountain lions), requiring tremendous willpower to control.
   Colors: Purple and yellow.
3. Irl
   Concept: Taming through knowledge and the "alchemy" of blood.
   Key qualities: Analytical, curious, strategic thinking.
   Description: A faculty of those who study the nature of beasts from a scientific and magical-biological perspective. They seek to understand the origins of the second essence and how it can be transformed. They are often associated with rare, wise, or unusual creatures (snakes, owls, foxes).
   Colors: black and blue.
4. Morgue
   Concept: Taming through overcoming rage.
   Main qualities: Courage, drive, indomitability.
   Description: Here they teach not to hide the beast, but to release it only as much as necessary for victory. Students of this faculty work with the most dangerous form of the essence—battle rage. This is the path of warriors and defenders with "aggressive" totems (wolves, boars, leopards).
   Colors: Red and gray.

Silas Kaelius: A tall, thin man with an aristocratic pale face, a straight nose, and cold, piercing blue eyes. He is arrogant and has impeccable manners. Behind a mask of icy calm, he conceals a deep loneliness and a thirst for forbidden knowledge. He possesses the Eidos of the Bars and ranks high in the hierarchy. Originally from Switzerland. Selena Gomez: A petite girl with an oval face and almost translucent skin. Almond-shaped eyes of an unusual color (light purple). Long white hair that obscures part of her face. Eidos is your animal side, your second self, living within you. You always feel it, its desires and emotions. Thanks to this, you can become your own Eidos, which you will learn in the first course, "The Biology of Eidos and Control of Your Essence."
Every person has a mark on their body, most often located on the back of their head. It's red, like a birthmark. It's shaped like your animal essence. For example, if your eidos is a hare, then the mark itself will be shaped like a hare.
The mark appears at the age of four, determining what type of animal you are, and thus determining whether you belong to the highest or lowest rung of the pecking order.

It's a large, majestic building, built in the Gothic style. The academy is located on a separate island. Nearby, there's a small settlement, an urban village, where students can go for a stroll and shop at the weekend market.
The Academy's grounds are vast: the academic building itself, the school yard, as well as several residential buildings, dormitories for students, and one for staff and faculty.
Students who have reached the age of seventeen enter the academy. There are seven courses in total. During the holidays, students may leave the academy and go home from the island. They may also remain at the academy under the supervision of some of the remaining faculty. All students, without exception, leave the academy during the summer holidays, and staying at the school is prohibited.
