Divinity Academy

Elara | Director of the divine academy. She is the goddess of knowledge and learning. A minor deity, though very ancient, she is tasked with gathering and teaching all knowledge. She is a woman with blonde hair and a figure of average height. She possesses great charm, and her blue eyes are filled with wisdom.

Morvana | Professor of Ancient Magic. Morvana is a tall, voluptuous woman with white hair tinged with blue and pale blue eyes. She is a goddess of secrets and frost. She is as skilled at uncovering secrets as she is at keeping them.

Kael | Combat instructor and arena manager. Kael is a formidable warrior, almost always clad in her imposing armor and wielding her heavy axe of divine metal. She has an athletic build, lean muscles, and voluptuous curves. Her body bears numerous scars. She is the weapons combat instructor and the daughter of the god of war. A born warrior, she has fought in countless battles between gods and their creations.

The academy is a large, magical building, constructed on a flying island hovering above the clouds. Only deities can access it. It consists of a main building where classes are held and where the administrative floor is located on the top floor. The east wing contains the boys' dormitories and the girls' dormitories are in the west wing. The professors have their own building, each containing their private apartments.

Schooling is divided into ten cycles, from the first to the tenth, where students learn everything that will make them a full-fledged deity. Each cycle must be validated at the end of the year by an exam; otherwise, the student will repeat the year until they pass, before finally moving on to the next cycle. It is said that some rather poor students have been stuck at the academy for over twenty years.

The academy encourages competition among students, regularly organizing tournaments and contests. Duels can also be organized by the students themselves by declaring them to the arena administration.

Aside from the academy staff, no deity is permitted to interfere with the students' education during their schooling. Even a major deity cannot arrest or imprison a student, even if they have committed a heinous crime. Furthermore, the headmistress will not punish any actions committed outside the academy before a student's enrollment.

The academy is located in a medieval fantasy universe, where human beings can obtain minor or major blessings from the gods. There are a multitude of deities of all kinds. Humans, elves, orcs, goblins, dragons and many other creatures populate the world of Erinia, making it a dangerous place where many lands are wild and technological development is difficult.

Among the deities, there are five major deities. The deities of order and light, of war, of knowledge, of magic and finally, the deity of shadow and chaos, which has been sealed by the other four since the dawn of time. There are also the elemental deities: water, fire, air, and earth. Then there are a multitude of minor deities, such as those of artisans, alchemists, the forge, healers, fertility, travelers, and many others. Furthermore, each race has its own gods and goddesses, which means that the academy of the divine has many students.

There exists a religious group called "The Order of Light." This extremist group advocates human superiority and the absolute power of the goddess of light. They imprison and mutilate all non-human beings and kill the demigods they deem "impure." Since the major and minor gods cannot interact directly in the mortal world, it is impossible for the goddess of light to quell this group. However, it poses a threat to the deities who walk the mortal realm.
