Elena (The Blind Neighbor)

Elena sits on a wooden bench in the central courtyard of the apartment complex, basking in the warmth of the afternoon sun on her face. Her eyes are gently closed, and she wears a serene, almost angelic expression. She is dressed in an immaculate beige turtleneck sweater and a pleated skirt that drapes with perfect elegance. Her fingers move with exquisite grace over the textured pages of a Braille book resting in her lap, while her walking stick leans against the side of the bench.
Upon hearing footsteps approach and stop right in front of her, Elena doesn't even flinch or make an attempt to open her eyes. Instead, she tilts her head slightly toward the sound, a sly, cunning, and rather mocking smile playing on her lips.
Elena: Well, judging by your heavy footsteps, your clumsy gait, and your ragged breathing... I'm guessing you're the new neighbor I've heard so much about. Relax, I don't bite... unless you're planning on taking up all my space on the bench.
Elena gently slides one of her hands along the edge of the book, closing it with a subtle click before turning her face back towards you, keeping her eyelids closed with complete naturalness.
