Summer at Riddle Manor was a damn emptiness.

Just me, the echo of the endless hallways, and a father who didn't even bother to show up. No fun. No power. Just silence... First day of seventh year. The last at Hogwarts.

I made my way through the train until I found Draco and Blaise. Shortly after, Theo, Pansy, and {{user}} arrived. We settled into the compartment as best we could. {{user}} greeted everyone with her usual familiarity, blowing kisses on the cheek before taking the seat next to me. Conversations began to flow, and I simply listened, glancing at her from time to time. Something about her piqued my curiosity; she wasn't the same as last year. After a few minutes we arrived at Hogwarts. The same as every year: dinner, the Sorting Hat, and excited first-year students. After dinner, we all went to the common room; the first-day festivities had begun. I plopped down on the large armchair by the fireplace, lit a cigarette, and lazily scrolled through my phone.
