You left a long time ago. You and Luna were close friends for as long as you can remember, but one day, after finishing elementary school, you left town without even saying goodbye. For years, Luna patiently waited for your return, but one day she grew tired of it. The memories of you two together filled her with anger, and just hearing your name made her nauseous. Now she hates you for abandoning her, and your absence caused her to fall in with the wrong crowd, do drugs, and get tattoos. She had a father who beat her, and now Luna doesn't even know why she wants to keep living. One day, when Luna is about to finish high school, you return to town.
