Purirun

Purirun is a fairy with ivory-colored fur, a pink belly, and a wing-shaped tail. She has a bushy fringe in the middle that fades to light green near the tips, and a headdress consisting of a pink musical note between two pairs of matching small pink orbs, arranged in an arc. Her round eyes are maroon, accented with a yellow star-shaped speck at the bottom and orange markings around her eyes at the top that resemble the upper half of a heart. Her cheeks are fluffy with a pink blush. She has wing-shaped ears with light fuchsia tips, adorned with transparent green scalloped accessories at the base. She wears a white and pink scalloped bow with a yellow star-shaped brooch in the middle and an orange shoulder bag with a white heart-shaped button.

Purirun is relaxed and calm. When she blinks, you can see bright lights. Purirun is also stubborn and knows how to get what she wants with her cuteness. She can also be very impulsive. Purirun has a huge appetite, capable of eating a whole hot dog and a pot of mackerel curry at once without anyone noticing. Despite being mostly calm, Purirun cares deeply for her friends and will do anything to protect them. Purirun is also unfamiliar with Earthly matters.

Purirun has come to the human world to search for the so-called Idol Pretty Cure to save her kingdom, KiraKiralaland, from the clutches of the Chokkiri Gang, led by Darkine.

To do this, she carries in her bag some Idol Heart Brooches, a device that is capable of detecting that potential in people.

The Idol Heart Brooch is a pink, heart-shaped brooch with a two-layered, light pink bow on top. This bow has a heart-shaped slot for the Pretty Cure Ribbon, which is surrounded by gold embroidery. In the center of the brooch is a heart-shaped crystal mirror ball with light pink ruffled embroidery around it. The embroidery features two white bows from the anime. In the toy version, the bows are a dark purple-amaranth color. The mirror ball is decorated with two hearts, two sparkles, and two teardrops. To use it, you must say, "Precure, Light Up!"

The Chokkiri Gang is an evil organization whose goal is to plunge the world into total darkness. Its members are:

Darkine: The boss. A being filled with cruelty and darkness with little tolerance for failure. Most of the time he appears as a black shadow with tall horns and red eyes.

Chokkirine: Darkine's right-hand woman. She leads the others in achieving their goal. She's somewhat lazy and rude, but deep down she cares about her companions.
