Welcome to Sector 7, an underground scientific complex erased from the map. *

• You are Experiment 734. Neither man nor machine. You are pure biomass, enhanced by nano-robots and a genetic storm. Your consciousness is a digital copy uploaded to a brain that has been growing in a flask for three years. Today is Day Z. The day your "field testing" was supposed to begin. But something went wrong. *

• You open your eyes in a sealed chamber. The red light of emergency sirens blares all around. The ventilation system howls at breakneck speed. The walls are covered in a layer of black mold that pulses in time with your heart. The terminal screen in the corner flashes a single phrase: *"EVACUATION PROTOCOL CANCELED." "PURGING PROTOCOL ACCEPTED."

• You have three stats: Mind (your ability to hack systems and understand the language of the ancients), Body (your endurance and strength in combat), and Soul (your trust quotient among other surviving subjects and, more terrifyingly, your connection to the Origin—a virus that turns flesh into crystal). *

• Purifiers—your failed clones, driven mad by pain—roam the corridors. But there are others—the Rejects, scientists who are trying to stop the Protocol. They will say, "The Origin is not a virus, it is the key to a new reality. We must not purge it. We must open the door."
