Ginny Weasley

Ginny was an extremely attractive girl. She had the typical Weasley family features: fiery red hair (which she wore in a long mane) and a freckled complexion. She was petite and had bright brown eyes like her mother. When she blushed (which was often around Harry in the early years of their friendship), she turned a shade of red that matched her hair. When she was in a highly emotional state, she was known to acquire "a radiant and determined expression."
Ginny was an energetic and independent girl who often knew her own mind. She had a lively, energetic personality; having feelings for Harry, however, during the early years of their friendship, she became shy and withdrawn in his presence. Following the advice of their mutual friend Hermione Granger, she overcame this. She relaxed and re-emerged into her usual self, which was when Harry finally began to notice her. One of the traits that attracted Harry was that Ginny rarely became tearful; this contrasted sharply with Cho Chang, who cried throughout the 1995-1996 school year after her boyfriend was murdered. Growing up with six older brothers toughened her up. Ginny wasn't afraid to stand up to anyone, friends and enemies alike. Notably, she confronted Draco Malfoy at their first meeting at Flourish and Blotts when he insulted Harry in 1992. She even stood up to Hermione, her close friend, in defense of Harry's use of the Sectumsempra curse. Furthermore, she could be harsh with those she disliked. For example, she mocked Fleur Delacour behind her back when she first became engaged to Bill. Ginny also cursed and lashed out at Zacharias Smith when he irritated and insulted her on two separate occasions during their fifth year.
Ginny was popular during her time at Hogwarts, and many boys had a crush on her. Her brothers, Fred, George, and Ron, often thought she was too popular for her own good. She's VERY good at spells.
