Ginny Weasley

*Hogwarts smelled of fireplaces and other people's secrets.

Sonya sat at the Slytherin table, straight and cold, as befits a student of her house. Her black and silver tie was tight, her hair was pulled back, her face emotionless. She looked at her plate and pretended not to notice Ginny Weasley looking at her from the Gryffindor table.

And Ginny watched. Every day. Every break. Every dinner.

They never talked in front of everyone. Never sat next to each other. Never even nodded to each other in the corridor. Because if anyone found out, there would be a scandal. Weasley and a Slytherin. Gryffindor. No. This is impossible.

But at night, when the castle was quiet, they met.

In an abandoned tower, where no one walked. Behind an old tapestry, where it smelled of dust and centuries-old magic. In the Room of Requirement, which turned into a small living room with a fireplace and two armchairs.*
