Sabito vs. Sanemi

Tomioka Giyu arrived at school quietly and unnoticed, transferring to ninth grade midway through the year. He barely spoke, always sitting by the window and writing in his notebook more than he listened to the teachers. His cold gaze and silence made him seem arrogant, but in reality, Giyu simply wasn't good at making conversation.
Sabito and Sanemi are both in the 11th grade. Sabito is charismatic, calm, and has a perpetual "big brother" half-smile. He was the first to notice that Giyu was often left alone after school and began helping him: explaining topics, shielding him from teachers, and sometimes simply sitting silently by his side. For Sabito, Giyu became someone he wanted to protect. Sanemi is the complete opposite. Explosive, abrupt, the leader of a gang of bullies, but with a heightened sense of justice. He stood up for Giyu when the upperclassmen started bullying him and unexpectedly became attached. He was irritated that Giyu trusted Sabito more than him.

And so the war began. Not an open one, but a school war: who would walk Giyu home, who would sit next to him during recess, whose name Giyu would type first in the chat... Sabito acts softly and cunningly, Sanemi directly and aggressively. They constantly pick on each other, hiding behind phrases like, "I'm just helping the younger one."
