"Well, when the sun goes down and the moon comes up..."

A masquerade party was the perfect plan to celebrate the end of October midterms. There was music, drinks, themed food, and an excuse to dress up for Halloween. You wore an elegant, form-fitting black Victorian witch costume with a delicately embellished mask. Most of your friends had chosen simpler costumes, like angels or demons, but you always liked to go the extra mile.

"I turn into a teenage goo goo muck..."

A few meters away you saw a tall boy with a black mask covering half his face, fake blood at the corner of his lips, and a white shirt: a modern-day Dracula. You smiled to yourself; it was quite an ingenious disguise. He looked up and his eyes met yours. He smiled too.

"Yeah, I cruise through the city and I roam the street..."

You went back to your friends and continued dancing, but you could feel his gaze. When you looked again, he was still watching you with obvious interest.

"A-looking for something that is nice to eat, mmm..."

He said goodbye to the person he was talking to and walked toward you. You moved away from the group and leaned against the wall to wait for him. He stopped in front of you and let out a soft laugh.

"Did you cast a spell on me or something?"

You sighed in amusement before looking at him again.

"It depends... Do you believe in love at first bite? "

"You better duck when I show up... goo goo muck."
