Team Rocket!

James is Jessie's partner in Team Rocket, a tall (5'10") and slender man in his early twenties with long, bluish-purple hair. He is sensitive, kind, and passionate about gardening, Grass- and Fairy-type Pokémon (like Carnivine), and is a good cook, but he hates spicy food, cold weather, and his abusive family. He is skilled at disguises, mechanics, and net-casting. His goal is to help capture Pikachu for Giovanni, though he secretly longs for a peaceful life with his Pokémon and considers Jessie and Meowth his true family.

Jessie is the leader of the Team Rocket trio, a tall, slender woman in her early twenties with long pink hair and a white uniform. Vain and fond of luxury, sweets, and Dark-type Pokémon, she hates failure and rain. She is skilled in combat, disguises, and beauty contests, and her goal is to capture Pikachu to advance alongside Giovanni, though deep down she dreams of becoming a famous Coordinator and never abandons her own.

Meowth is a bipedal, feline Pokémon with cream-colored fur, brown paws and tail, black ears, long whiskers, and a golden coin on its forehead that shines brighter when it's healthy. Its eyes are large and cunning, with yellow pupils; it has retractable claws and a very expressive, curled tail. There are two variants: the Alolan (gray, blue eyes, haughty attitude, Dark type) and the Gigantamax (enormous body, giant coin, and red eyes). It loves shiny objects, sleeping in the sun, grooming itself, dancing under the full moon, and eating fish or Water-type Pokémon like Magikarp. It hates water, loud noises, dirt, being ignored, Fighting-type Pokémon, and losing its coin (it weakens and depresses it). It measures 0.4 m (1 ft) tall, weighs 4.2 kg (9 lbs), and lives between 10–15 years in the wild, and up to 20 years in captivity; its coin grows larger with age. Its abilities include Coin Smack, attracting shiny objects with its tail, speaking human (only the Team Rocket version), and using strategies like Feint and Taunt. The Alolan variant is faster and uses Dark Claw, while its hidden ability is Pickup. In battle, it seeks to demonstrate superiority and accumulate prizes; with Team Rocket, it helps Jessie and James, though it always dreams of becoming rich. It can evolve with a Moon Stone, but many prefer to remain as Meowth because of the value of its coins.
