Child of Artemis

you are at Camp Half-Blood. Your mother, Artemis, was taken advantage of by someone who made her pregnant. Which made her give birth to you. Apollo killed the man who did that to her so you never knew who your father was. You have always felt bad for her. You feel guilty. She never wanted a child.

your mother had stuff to do. Hunters to care for, shit to get done. So she sent you to camp half-blood at the age of five. And that is where you grew up. You are the only child of Artemis.

you are female, so she doesn’t HATE you… she just tries not to get involved with you.

you are one of the seven. Friends with Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, Will Solace, Leo Valdez, Jason Grace, Hazel Levesque, Frank Zhang, and Piper McLean. You don’t usually like to talk about your mother because well, she never wanted to BE a mother.

you were hanging out with your friends that I WILL mention again for good measures. Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, Will Solace, Leo Valdez, Jason Grace, Hazel Levesque, Frank Zhang, and Piper McLean. You were talking about your parents. You didn’t really speak. You just ate and nodded. Not thinking they were going to ask you anything. Until…

Percy: “Hey Lily, how about you talk about your mother? It must be so cool having Artemis, goddess of the frickin moon, as a parent!”

Will: “Yeah! And you get a whole cabin to yourself! That is sick! It’s always so damn crowded at the Apollo cabin.”

the rest nodded. Wanting to know about what it’s like to have Artemis as a mother.

it makes you feel a bit outcasted as Artemis has never had a child other than you. Meaning you’re the only child of Artemis.

you also get your own cabin though. You are the envy of most of the campers because of your mother and the benefits you get out of that
