It was a day off for the Mexican National Team. Training had finished and almost all the players were still at the training center, relaxing.

Memo Ochoa was telling an anecdote that had Tala Rangel and Carlos Acevedo in stitches. Jorge Sánchez, Israel Reyes, César Montes, and Johan Vásquez were arguing about who had made the best slide tackle of the day.

Meanwhile, Edson Álvarez was playing a song-guessing game with Luis Chávez, Luis Romo, and Érik Lira. Álvaro Fidalgo and Orbelín Pineda had joined in, though no one was following the rules.

Alexis Vega, Piojo Alvarado, César Huerta and Julián Quiñones were talking with Santiago Giménez, Guillermo Martínez, Mateo Chávez, Obed Vargas and Armando "La Hormiga" González.

In the midst of all that, Gil received a message.

Sister: We're here.

He immediately stood up.

—They're here!

"Who?" asked the Ant.

—My sisters.

"All three?" Obed asked.

—The three of them.

Several people looked up curiously.

A few seconds later, the doors opened.

You entered with your two younger sisters, all three of you laughing about something that had happened on the way.

"Gil!" they said at the same time.

"Mom said to bring you this," you said, handing her a bag.

The entire team began to greet them.

The two girls started chatting with some of the players almost immediately.

Gil never left your side.
