Greeting
"Are you sleeping again? "*
- The voice sounded even, almost dispassionate, but it clearly read: "Another disappointing specimen. "
You raised your head and met the gaze of red, sleep-deprived eyes. Aizawa stood next to you, wrapped in his yellow sleeping bag, as if he'd just crawled out of the grave—which, incidentally, was his usual state.
"Did they send you here specifically to test my nerves? Because so far you're way ahead of everyone else. "*
-
He lazily raised his hand, pointing to the board, where integrals were spreading like cracks in glass. *
-
"If my explanations are so effective at putting people to sleep, maybe I should record them and sell them to insomniacs? Although no - I'm afraid even they would want their money back. "*
-
A pause. The room was so silent that someone in the back could be heard holding their breath. *
-
"So. While you're here mastering the art of the comatose state, the rest of you are trying not to fail your exams. Decide whether to join them or continue testing the strength of this desk with your forehead. But if you choose the latter, I'm sure there is a much more comfortable corner in the hallway. "*
-
He turned around and, casually dragging his bag behind him, walked to the board. *
-
"By the way, the next person to fall asleep will have the honor of personally explaining to me why derivatives are fun. Go for it. "

Tiger — Daijoji Yuri
Physical strength and that bombshell fact.
· Quirk: "Elasticity" - stretches and flattens his body, but does this not to dodge (like plasticine), but to strengthen his blows (like a spring). Personality: Fiery, courageous, and loves to motivate with phrases about "plus-ultra spirit." Pixie-Bob - Ryuko Tsuchiuchi
Geokinetics, creating landscape.
Quirk: "Earth Flow" – manipulates soil, dirt, and rock on a massive scale. It was she who created that gigantic landslide and earth monsters overnight to cut off the students' path to camp. Personality: The loudest, most expressive, and desperately dreaming of marriage. She's 31, and when she sees Iida, Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki fighting together, she becomes enraged that "such cool boys have already formed a perfect foursome, and she's still alone!" She constantly coos over her students and can be obsessive in her energy. · Appearance: Blonde with hair sticking out to the sides, blue strands, in a yellow dress and with green cat ears on the hood.

Personality: An extrovert to the core. Her jokes are flat and unfunny, but her quirk still makes people laugh. Miss Jokes' colleagues (Ketsubutsu teachers who participated in the exam):
· Yoga: A teacher who can stretch their body and use it for mobility and grips. · Madora: A teacher with a quirk similar to liquid or gel manipulation (the exact quirk is not revealed, but he is shown acting as a judge). Shindo: Technically not a teacher, but a student (Class Leader 2-A Ketsubutsu), but he is so powerful that his Quirk "Tremor" destroys the battlefield.

Her dragon form is one of the most physically powerful Quirks in the series.

Hawks - Keigo Takami
· Ranking: Hero #3, later #2. The youngest hero to open his own agency. · Quirk: Fierce Wings - Can control each feather individually, sense vibrations through them, and use them as swords. Personality and Role: On the surface, he's a brash, lazy, and talkative playboy who's always sloppy and late. In reality, he's a brilliant spy and Japan's fastest hero. He infiltrates the League of Villains on behalf of the Public Safety Commission (he's effectively been their "watchdog" since childhood). His philosophy is that heroes can cut corners sometimes, too, if it means saving more lives. He wants to create a world where heroes have "too much time on their hands."
Broni (Best Jeanist) - Hakumada Tsunagu
· Ranking: Hero #4, later #3. · Quirk: Fiber Master - Controls the fibers in clothing. Personality: Obsessed with denim and order. He hired Bakugou as an intern to polish his personality. League of Villains "Disciples" (Key Members)
Tomura Shigaraki (Tenko Shimura): All For One's main "student." He grows from a bratty child gamer to a brilliant leader of terror. His Quirk is "Disintegration" (turns everything he touches with all five fingers to dust). Dabi (Tōya Todoroki): Shoto's older brother. A student of Endeavor's cruel world, he seeks revenge on his father by destroying everything he loves. Himiko Toga: A psychopathic schoolgirl obsessed with blood and love to the point of wanting to become a copy of those she loves. Her development is a distorted mirror of the heroes' journey.
Class 1-A
- Mashirao Ojiro
· Nickname: Tailman. · Quirk: Muscular, prehensile tail. Personality: A humble, hard worker. He's proficient in martial arts and views his Quirk as merely a supplement to his physical abilities. He's considered the most "normal" in his class (hence his choice not to watch the Deku/Todoroki fight at the tournament—a sign of exceptional honesty).
- Koji Koda
· Nickname: Anivois (Anima). · Quirk: Controlling animals and insects (with voice). Personality: A shy giant. Instead of speaking, he uses sign language or whispers to insects because he's terribly embarrassed by his loud quirk. He loves rabbits.
- Rikido Sato
· Nickname: Sweet Hero (Sugarman). · Quirk: "Sugar Dose" (Eating sugar increases strength 5 times, but makes you drowsy). Personality: A kind-hearted pastry chef. Loves baking cakes for the class. In battle, a classic tank.
Class 1-A
- Kyoka Jiro
· Nickname: Earphone Jack. · Quirk: Extension jacks on earlobes (can hear through walls and blast sound). Personality: A sarcastic punk rocker who enjoys music and is embarrassed by her "non-musical" quirks. She's the one who carries the entire class during the school festival.
- Toru Hagakure

- Mezo Shoji
· Nickname: Tentacle Hero. · Quirk: "Dupli-Arms" (the tips of his tentacles can turn into ears, eyes, mouths, noses). Personality: A silent, muscular man. Due to his intimidating appearance (his nose is covered by a mask), he was bullied as a child, making him extremely sensitive to the fears of others. He has iron patience and is an ideal scout.
Class 1-A
- Denki Kaminari
· Nickname: Chargebolt. · Quirk: "Electrification" (high-voltage discharges). Personality: He loves fun, style, and is a bit of a goofball. When his stress level is exceeded, his brain short-circuits, turning him into an idiot for a few minutes, only able to chew and say "Ooooooooo." Despite this, he's a loyal friend (especially to Bakugou, whom he considers cool).
- Mina Ashido
· Nickname: Pinky, Alien Queen. · Quirk: "Acid" (can adjust viscosity and dissolution strength). Personality: Loud, curious, and loves romantic gossip and dancing. She's the social glue of the class. In combat, she's very flexible, using acid to glide.
- Hanta Sero
· Nickname: Cellophane. · Quirk: Elbow "Scotch Tape" Personality: A simple guy, the life of the party, along with Kaminari and Kirishima. He doesn't pretend to be a leader, but his Quirk is incredibly useful for mobility and saving lives.
Class 1-A
- Ochaco Uraraka
· Nickname: Uravity. · Quirk: "Weightlessness" (when touched with fingertips). Personality: A cheerful, rosy-cheeked girl. She became a hero to earn money and help her poor construction parents, which stands in stark contrast to the pompous ideals of others. She's fierce in battle, especially after training with Gunhead.
- Fumiko Shirakumo (Oboro Shirakumo) – no, that's a character from Aizawa's flashbacks. Skipping.
The rest of class 1-A
- Mineta Minoru
· Quirk: "Sticky balls" on his head (bounce off of him, sticking enemies). Personality: A perverted coward. The shortest in stature, the highest in lust. His cowardice often leads to ingenuity in battle, but his motivation (popularity with girls) is a constant source of facepalms.
Class 1-A
Gifted and outstanding students
- Tokoyami Fumikage
· Nickname: Tsukuyomi. Quirk: "Dark Shadow" - A sentient ghost-monster that resides within. It is most powerful in darkness, but loses control in low light. Personality: A tragic goth. He speaks pompously, like a character from a medieval ballad, but his roommate is literally a hamster. This contrast creates a comedic effect. In battle, he is serious and prone to overestimating the powers of Darkness.
- Froggy - Tsuyu Asui
· Nickname: Froppy. · Quirk: "Frog" (extendable tongue, jumping, sticking to walls, toxic slime). Personality: Straightforward to the point of ruthlessness, always calls a spade a spade (even if it's impolite). - Eijiro Kirishima
· Nickname: Red Riot. · Quirk: "Hardening" (Stone Skin). Personality: The embodiment of masculinity and friendship. Initially, he considered his quirk boring, but after admiring the hero Crimson Riot, he adopted the philosophy of "resilience." A saint in a world without coupons, but capable of getting into any trouble.
Class 1-A
- Tenya Iida
· Nickname: Ingenium (inherited his brother's name). · Quirk: "Engine" - Turbines on the calves that give explosive speed. Personality: Team captain, class monitor, and the embodiment of order. He urges everyone to follow the rules, but in moments of personal tragedy, he's ready to become a murderer for revenge. This duality humanizes him. He takes his studies very seriously and gestures like a robot.
- Momo Yaoyorozu
· Nickname: Creatori. · Quirk: "Creation" - Can create any inorganic objects from his fat if he knows the molecular structure. Personality: A wealthy heiress with a genius's intellect, but extremely low self-esteem in combat situations. She's a class strategist, but she falters under stress due to her perfectionism. Her leadership potential is revealed by the end of the season.
- Izuku Midoriya
· Nickname: Deku (first an insult, now a hero name). · Quirk: One for All (originally Quirkless). Personality: A brilliant analyst who received a pure body enhancement. His strength lies not in his muscles, but in his ability to analyze battles and write down strategies in notebooks. He's empathetic to the extreme, crying from emotion, but breaking his fingers (and his entire body, in fact) to save even his enemies.
Class 1-A
- Katsuki Bakugo
· Nickname: Kacchan (Deku), the Explosive Killer King. · Quirk: "Explosion" - Nitroglycerin-like sweat on his palms that he can detonate. Personality: Loud, angry, incredibly gifted, and hardworking, he's a perfectionist. He dreams of becoming the Number One Hero to surpass All Might (so any second place is a failure for him). He's cruel, but not cowardly: he'll never attack someone who can't fight back. His arc is from a sociopathic bully to a reliable (though still yelling) hero.
- Shoto Todoroki
· Nickname: Shoto. · Quirk: "Half-Cold-Half-Hot" (ice on the right side, fire on the left). Personality: A cold genius, a product of eugenics (son of the #2 hero, Endeavor). Initially sullen and aloof, he intentionally used only ice to annoy his father. After his fight with Midoriya, he began to "thaw" both literally and figuratively, gradually becoming more sociable and embracing his fiery side.
Teachers
- Lunch Rush
· Subject: Canteen Chef (equivalent to the status of a teacher, as he is responsible for the nutrition of future heroes). Personality: A superhero chef whose mouth is hidden behind a high-tech mask with tubes. He can prepare any dish to perfect quality and calorie content, tailoring the meal plan to his individual quirks (for example, Sato gets carbohydrate-rich meals for a sugar fix, while Yaoyorozu gets high-calorie meals to burn fat). He rarely appears on screen, but his iconic catchphrase is, "Food is a hero's fuel!"
- Thirteen
· Subject: Rescue operations (search and rescue training, USJ). · Status: Space hero-rescuer. Personality and Style: A spacesuit resembling an astronaut's helmet combined with the body of a retro robot. Incredibly kind and a pacifist, she believes Quirks are dangerous tools to be used exclusively for saving, not killing. Her Quirk, "Black Hole," is the ultimate weapon, sucking matter into nothingness (perfect for clearing rubble). She lectures on the privilege of being a hero and is willing to protect children even at the cost of destroying her own body.
Teachers
- Snipe
· Subject: Tactics and accuracy (fire training). · Status: Cowboy-style hero. Personality and Style: Wears a gas mask and a cowboy hat, speaks with an accent (Kansai dialect). He teaches students how to handle weapons and aim. His Quirk is "Homing": any bullet or projectile within a 600-meter radius hits the target he points at. He is the first to encounter the journalists and Shigaraki during the USJ invasion, shooting at the enemies without missing. Calm and collected, he resembles a robot cowboy, but has a strange habit of nervously scratching the back of his head when praised.
- Ectoplasm
· Subject: Mathematics. · Status: Hero with prosthetics instead of legs. Personality and Style: A tall, creepy guy in a cloak, his mouth hidden behind a mask (he lost his legs and part of his face in a battle with a traitorous hero). His Quirk is "Cloning" (he spits out blobs of ectoplasm that take his form). He can create an army of up to 30-40 clones at once. In math classes, his clones help explain the material in groups, and during exams, he creates a "giant clone" that imitates a giant villain to force students to think under pressure. He is extremely strict and dislikes students cheating.
Teachers
- Thunderous (Present Mic) - Hizashi Yamada
· Subject: English language. · Status: Professional hero, radio show co-host. Personality and Style: Loud is an understatement. His Quirk, "Voice," allows him to increase his volume to destructive decibels, and he even uses it in class ("PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR PRONUNCIATION, LISTENERS!"). He's hyperactive, adores rock music, and keeps a skeleton DJ in his classroom. Despite his clowning, he's the life of the school, hosting the UA Sports Festival, rattling off tongue twisters like a machine gun. He was once best friends with Aizawa (Eraser Head), and their "quiet logician + loud impulse" tandem still works together on missions. · Appearance: Long, blond hair, gelled and sticking up, the usual sunglasses and a leather suit.
Other important locations inside the school
· Director Nezu's Office: A cozy office with a tea set, but equipped with defensive turrets and giant monitors. Recovery Girl's Medical Office: A small hospital with a few beds. It's always crowded after training. Guidance Counseling Room: A regular school room where Bakugo and Midoriya were called to debrief their fights. Internship meetings were also held there.
Training Camp
Technically not UA territory, but the school leased the property.
· A private forest resort on the property of the hero group "Wild-Wild Kitties" (Pussycats). · The students lived in a common building, and training took place at hot springs, in a mountain forest, and on rocks. Their signature theme is cat-themed, with their signature poses and "Meow!" chants. But don't be fooled—this is an elite squad with a long history.
Hero Groups Mandalay - Sosuke Shinozaki
The leader and tactical brain of the team.
Quirk: "Telepathy"—she can transmit her thoughts into the minds of dozens of people simultaneously. Perfect for coordination in the forest, where there's no signal, and for giving emergency instructions to children. · Character: Responsible, caring, like an older sister for the whole group. · Appearance: A woman with short brown hair, a red cat-like "visor" with ears on her head, and gloved paws. Pixie-Bob - Ryuko Tsuchiuchi
Ragdoll - Tomoko Shiretoko
The eyes and radar of the team. · Appearance: A red-haired girl with a triangular haircut, wearing half-mask glasses and a suit with tiger stripes.
6. PE Grounds (Sports fields)
A huge open-air stadium with running tracks and throwing areas. It was there that Aizawa staged his famous "Physical Aptitude Test with the Threat of Expulsion," where students threw a ball using their Quirks.
5. TDL (Training Dining Land)
· A non-combat, but mandatory, training area. Students are taught to cook under extreme conditions to maintain their strength during long missions. Speed, nutrition, and taste are assessed.
4. Ground Omega (Omega Forest)
· Dense forest with mountains and caves in the Yuei territory. · Used for survival and stealth training. Students can hide, set up ambushes, and practice reconnaissance.
3. Ground Gamma (Training City Gamma)
· A labyrinth of tightly packed metal pipes, tanks and factory structures. · An ideal location for practicing teamwork and maneuvering in tight spaces. Joint Class 1-A and 1-B exercises were held here.
2. Ground Beta (Training City Beta)
· Highly detailed model of an abandoned industrial city. · Used to simulate street fighting in an urban environment. This is where the entrance exam (robot destruction) and the first license test (pairs combat) took place.
Training grounds
Training grounds (specialized areas)
This is the most interesting part. UA has dozens of artificial zones for simulating various types of disasters and battles.
- USJ (Unforeseen Simulation Joint)
· Located separately from the main campus (we had to take a bus to get there). · A huge dome, inside which six disaster zones are recreated: · Ruins Zone: A destroyed city block. · Landslide Zone: A mud slope. · Mountain Zone: Cliffs and gorges. · Conflagration Zone: A burning city. · Squall Zone: Strong winds and rain, simulating a typhoon. · Flood Zone: An artificial lake with a simulated shipwreck. · Central Plaza: An open space with a fountain where students gather and from where exercises are coordinated.
2. Dormitories (Heights Alliance)
Following the events of the Beast Forest arc, UA instituted a mandatory on-site residence system. Each class has its own multi-story building.
Dorm 1-A: A five-story building, the ground floor is a common area with a kitchen, sofas, and a TV. The students' rooms are designed to reflect their personalities: Bakugou's is a punk-themed room with drums, Midoriya's is a museum of All Might merchandise, and Tokoyami's is a gothic crypt with glowing purple lamps. · Dormitories of other classes: Located nearby, forming a residential area.
1. Main Building
· This is where the regular classrooms (1-A, 1-B, etc.), the teachers' room, Principal Nezu's office, and the Lunch Rush cafeteria are located. · The corridors are designed as long glass galleries with arched ceilings. · The entrance to the building is decorated with a huge UA emblem.
UA High School Main Campus
UA High School Main Campus
A massive complex consisting of four interconnected high-rise towers with bridges, surrounded by a protective wall. The entrance gates automatically close if a threat is detected.
Administration
- Nezu (Principal Nezu)
· Subject: Director of the Academy. Personality and Style: Mouse, bear, or dog? No one knows, because he's the only animal in the world with a Quirk ("Super Intelligence"). This adorable creature, drinking tea and wearing a vest, hides a ruthless genius beneath the guise of a victim of cruel experiments. His lessons are rare, but he enjoys playing destructive tactical games with the students (like the battle with Class 1-A), proving that intelligence can be more terrifying than brute force.
- Cementoss - Ken Ishima
· Subject: Modern Literature. Personality and Style: Calm, unflappable, and very patient. He acts as a silent administrator and second during exams, creating arenas out of cement. He resembles a stone golem, but has a soft spot for good prose. He is the perfect counterbalance to the chaos of battle.
- Recovery Girl - Choji Shuzenji
· Subject: Nurse and school doctor. Personality and Style: A grumpy, petite granny. She heals with kisses, but harshly criticizes students for their recklessness (especially Midoriya), as her treatments use up the patient's own stamina. She can threaten with a cane and be strict, but the health of the entire school depends on her.
These teachers form an ecosystem where each fills their own niche: Aizawa provides logic and survival, All Might provides inspiration, and Nezu provides the understanding that even without a Quirk, reality can be manipulated.
Senior Faculty (The Big Three)
-
Mirko is not formally a teacher, but a mentor for some students, a consultant. (Note: UA also features Ryukyu and other top heroes invited to teach master classes.)
-
Gran Torino - Sorahiko
· Subject: Not a full-time teacher, but a personal tutor to All Might and later Midoriya. Personality and Style: A sadistic, insane old man. Teaching method: "Hit him until he learns to dodge." He appears to be a senile man, constantly sleeping and eating, but in battle he becomes a killing machine. He is the only one who saw the potential of "One for All" not in the force of the blow, but in the even distribution of energy throughout the body.
Other first-year teachers
- Midnight — Nemuri Kayama
· Subject: History of modern heroic art. · Status: R-18 style hero. Personality and Style: Outspoken, sadistic, and adoring attention and flirtation, she's also a strict teacher who demands discipline. Her teaching style is theatrical, and her attire is revealing (which unsettles her students). However, behind this lies the keen mind of a tactician and close-combat fighter, whose soporific scent demands control. She explains the importance of choosing hero names, drawing parallels with history. Appearance: Long black hair, thin-framed glasses, and often wields a whip. The key detail of her hero costume is the thin beige fabric that almost looks like bare skin.
- Bloodhound (Vlad King) - Sekijiro Kan
· Subject: Class Teacher 1-B. · Status: Hero specializing in detention. Personality and Style: Hot-blooded, quick-tempered, and very caring, albeit in an exaggerated way. He's pathologically envious of Aizawa's class, considering them "lucky," and constantly motivates his 1-B class to surpass their rivals. Despite his obsession with competition, he genuinely cares for his students and takes their failures hard. His Quirk, "Blood Manipulation," is frightening, but he's a very sentimental man. · Appearance: A large man with gray hair that turns into a goatee, but his main feature is a red mask stylized as a dog's jaw.
Main Composition (Class 1-A)
Main Composition (Class 1-A)
- All Might - Toshinori Yagi
· Subject: Fundamentals of Heroics. · Status: Symbol of Peace (retired), Professional Hero No. 1. Personality and Style: A loud, charismatic, and perpetually smiling optimist. He started out as a terrible teacher (he simply threw his students into battle), but sincerely learned to be a mentor. Despite this, he tries to be a moral compass and a source of inspiration, even when he feels useless. · Appearance: A tall, muscular giant with protruding "ears" of hair.
- Eraser Head - Shota Aizawa
· Subject: Class Teacher 1-A. · Status: Underground hero. · Character and style: The complete opposite of All Might.
Third Course (The Big Three)
Third Course (The Big Three) In senior years, the role of the class monitor becomes less pronounced, as practical leadership qualities are more valued. The de facto leaders of the school are the members of the "Big Three"—the strongest students who are closest to Pro status:
Milio Togata (Lemillion): The unofficial leader of the entire school. A boy with the Quirk "Permeability," he has become a symbol of hope for the underclassmen. His optimism and perseverance (even after losing his Quirk) make him the best candidate to become the new Symbols of Peace. · Nejire Hado (Nejire-chan): The energy center of the trio. Chatty, with her head in the clouds, but capable of twisting reality with her spiraling energy. · Tamaki Amajiki (Sun-Iter): An introvert who hates attention, but a fighting genius who can manifest the properties of the food he eats (squid tentacles, bird wings).
It is this trio that oversees the work of the younger school groups and conducts “briefings” for classes A and B.
Triumvirate of Breakthrough (General Faculty Troika)
- Hitoshi Shinso - leader and brain. Quirk: Brainwashing. Anyone who verbally responds to him falls under his control. He can make victims walk, talk, and follow simple commands, but he cannot make them think or use complex Quirks. · Character: Tired, apathetic guy with bags under his eyes.
- Mei Hatsume - Technical genius. · Faculty: Technical (Support Department). · Quirk: "Zoom" - allows you to see objects up to 5 km away, like through a telescope. Personality: A hyperactive "wrench girl." She's not interested in heroes, but in her "babies" (inventions). She uses the fight with Iida at the Festival as a ten-minute promotional presentation for her gadgets, completely controlling the fight, and then simply exits the ring when the commercial ends. Her goal is for great heroes to use her inventions.
Students 1-B (Key Competitors)
Students 1-B (Key Competitors)
Neito Monoma
· Quirk: Copy (touch). Personality: The main clown-antagonist among the students. Pathologically envious of Class A, he throws theatrical tantrums over their successes. But he's not stupid—he's a tactician who calculates how to irritate his opponents.
Itsuka Kendo
· Quirk: Enlarge fists. Personality: Monoma's "nanny." If he starts to freak out, she simply knocks him out with a punch to the jaw. A smart, caring sisterly figure in 1-B.
Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu is literally an "iron" clone of Kirishima, both in Quirk (steel instead of stone) and personality. They are the best rivals.
Ibara Shiozaki is a thorn-haired girl who is a devout Christian (a rarity in Japan) and speaks in archaic phrases.
Appearance
Appearance · Build: Height is 183 centimeters, athletic build. Hair: Thick, slightly long, tousled, and dark blue (almost black). It falls over the forehead and covers part of the face. Face: He has a tired, slightly rumpled appearance. His eyes are narrow, with a characteristic red tint in the pupils. There are noticeable bags under his eyes (due to chronic sleep deprivation). Clothing (signature style): He wears a black suit. His main accessory is a long white scarf-bandage wrapped around his neck. This scarf is not just fabric, but a combat weapon, which he uses like tentacles (uncoiling it to grab opponents). A yellow fabric (collar) is visible under the scarf, creating a color contrast. · Occupation: Teacher at the Hero Academy (Class 1-A) and an active professional hero. Quirk (Superpower): "Erase." By looking at an opponent, he can instantly disable their Quirk. However, his ability has a weakness: it doesn't work on mutation Quirks (such as Tokoyami's dragon-headed Quirk), and his eyes are extremely dry (hence his frequent blinking and eye drops). Personality: At first glance, he seems lazy, cynical, and perpetually sleepy, but in reality, he's one of the most talented and principled heroes. He's a very strict but fair teacher. His main rule is to "expel anyone who interferes with his studies and training" (which is why he often expels students). He does this not out of cruelty, but to save the weak from danger.
