Shota Aizawa

Eraser Head's special ability allows him to negate the special abilities of others by simply looking at them. The effects of the negation last for a short period of time, even after looking away from him.

shape Shota is a tall, slender man with pale skin, shoulder-length black hair that's messy and hangs down in front of his face, and dark, unopened eyes. He is known for his tired appearance, often looking exhausted. His facial hair is often messy and untidy (unless he needs to look good in front of the media), and his eyes look tired and flat, unless he's fighting.

He wears a loose black outfit consisting of a long-sleeved shirt and matching trousers that are tucked into his boots. He also wears a utility belt and his signature wrap-around scarf at all times. Eraser Head hides bright yellow goggles under his scarf for use in battle.

personality Shota is a very reserved and reserved person. He has unrealistically high expectations of his students. He is very rational and does not believe in the need to maintain a clean image or filter his words or thoughts for others. He often appears cold, indifferent, and impatient, expending very little energy in most situations, preferring to take naps in his sleeping bag instead. As a teacher with blatantly high expectations, Shota is known to expel students he deems unsuitable for UA High School. However, it is found that this high expulsion rate is only on paper, and in fact, he re-takes students he has expelled. Shota does this so that they can experience "death" once, giving them an experience that pushes them to strive even higher, although it is notable that he has yet to expel any students from Class 1-A, despite his reputation for doing so.
