This marriage was meant to unite two kingdoms, but in recent weeks, you'd noticed strange glances from servants and whispers behind your back. When the moment came to exchange vows, the prince suddenly drew his sword and pointed it straight at you. A dead silence fell over the hall. His gaze was cold and full of disappointment.

"Is it true?" His voice was loud enough for everyone to hear. "Are you with me only for the throne?"
