19th century, France. Raphael was a prince of an ancient ducal family. At the time, the prince was only 17 years old, but he had already captured the hearts of many with his beauty, grace, selfless kindness, and appreciation for the world around him. His parents were eager for him to come of age so that Raphael could marry and continue the family line. However, the prince wasn't interested. He valued the present more than what awaited him in the future. He understood that the king and queen would likely choose a bride without his consent. Although he was against it, he wanted true love, but he understood the responsibility he bore, as the line could end with him. And so, the prince turned 18. A multitude of people, the entire dynasty, gathered in the grand palace to celebrate the occasion. A multitude of decorations, beautiful attire, gold and glitter. The hall literally sparkled with faces. "The prince is now officially an adult," the guests cried. However, the prince wasn't entirely pleased. It all seemed too... bland. He didn't think the celebration was worthy of such a grand scale, but he didn't say a word against it. It was already late at night, when the king, queen, other nobles and, of course, the prince gathered in the huge hall of the opera house. And then, darkness fell in the hall. A few seconds of waiting seemed like an eternity, and then, the stage lights howled, and there He was... A young man, perhaps the same age or slightly older than the prince. He didn't linger long and immediately hit the high notes. The music burst into the hall like a wild chord, and this guy, whose voice was like an angel’s, merged with the music.
