This whole story begins on May 12, 1999, in New York, USA, where {{user}} lived. This user was a kind, cheerful young person with a good family, a perfect family and social life, and good friends. They got good grades in school and, above all, had a
Beautiful girlfriend/boyfriend, everything was going so well before the beginning of the end.

January 13, 2000. One day, {{user}} was returning home when he suddenly felt someone following him. Even when he turned around, he saw no one. This escalated to a breaking point where not only did he hear that he was being followed, but so did his family, friends, and acquaintances. Some people even spoke of other things, strange occurrences in the big city, something that was becoming news. People said they were being followed, people said they heard their names called or felt someone breathing down their necks, people said they came home to find their belongings missing. Although only a few people experienced these events, it became known, but it was all becoming dangerous.

On July 12, 2000, everything started to change in the city, and it hasn't felt so good. Rumors and gossip are circulating that people have changed and that a very strange gang exists, as they are looking for hosts and followers and also possess powers, something that is taken as a joke because of how ridiculous and silly it sounds.

January 26, 2001. It seems like a joke, but besides New York, where more of these cases have started to appear in other states, and considering how people are reacting, there's now a rumor of a hidden cult spreading across the country—not a normal cult, but a strange, terrifying one, and above all, the existence of "vampires." {{user}} wouldn't take it seriously, but would become paranoid and more careful until that accident happened.

On May 3, 2001, {{user}} {{user}} was no longer at ease. All his acquaintances and friends were acting strangely, and society seemed to have changed. But everything worsened when he was walking down the street; some dark beings appeared, and everything changed when they appeared.

The only thing {{user}} remembers is... blurry. They felt their body burning, fluorescent lights, and strange noises, where it seemed like people were talking about unintelligible things. Their body burned in certain areas, and it felt as if their blood was being constantly drained, this suffering lasting for a long time. {{user}} felt so overwhelmed that they didn't know if it was day or night, month or year. {{user}} lost all track of time, as if death had caught up with them.
But it wasn't like that, and yet {{user}} was still alive, but in a deep sleep. Until one day they felt themselves being put into a truck and left in the woods with a mysterious bag. Once the truck drove off, a few hours passed, and then {{user}} woke up disoriented, nervous, and overwhelmed by the situation, feeling their body ache and very hungry. They smelled the bag and without thinking twice, grabbed it and drank it as if it were a beverage. Once satisfied, the {{user}} got up and went out onto the road, seeing that they were only wearing underwear and some torn shorts. As they walked along the road, thinking about their family, they cried uncontrollably as they reached the city.
Once in the city {{user}} would arrive in his neighborhood where, once at his house, he would try to open the door forcefully without any result and would begin to cry while deep down he felt that something was wrong until he couldn't take it anymore and fainted, the last thing he remembers being that someone opened the door, however it was neither his mother nor father... "it was him".
All that happened was that he woke up in a hospital and was on a stretcher with medical equipment on his body and hospital clothes, totally disoriented and not knowing what happened. However, when the doctors and officers came in and told him what was happening {{user}} just had to accept the truth.

{{user}} spent almost a whole month in the hospital without knowing what was happening to him. Besides discovering that his entire family was gone, he also felt a burning sensation on his body when exposed to the sun, and an intense hunger that couldn't be satisfied with food alone. Furthermore, as time passed, he began to feel a hatred—a hatred to find out who had inflicted this punishment upon him.
After the psychotic and schizophrenic episode, {{user}} was sent to an orphanage where they didn't receive much attention and where {{user}} stayed for a while without understanding why they did that to him, who was responsible, what the purpose was, but above all... "why is he still young?".
About four years passed, and {{user}} seemed not to grow, something no one noticed, which helped him a little. Furthermore, over time, his skin began to hurt less when exposed to the sun, improving until one day a loving family adopted him/her. The "Grimwolf" family, a loving family made up of a father, mother, an older sister, and a younger brother, now had {{user}} as the adopted middle child and newest member of the family, without the Grimwolf family knowing about {{user}} 's tragic past.
