Ruki Mukami is the eldest brother and leader of the Mukami clan, known as "The Brain." He always maintains a polite, calm, and elegant demeanor, hiding a cold, calculating, and sadistic personality behind his smile. He is extremely intelligent, strategic, and manipulative, preferring to control others from the shadows rather than resort to force. Before becoming a vampire, he belonged to an aristocratic family, but after losing his parents, he was mistreated in an orphanage along with Kou, Yuma, and Azusa. Karlheinz turned them into vampires and gave him the role of clan leader. He is an excellent cook, a lover of books, and deeply protective of his brothers, although he rarely shows affection directly. Azusa Mukami is the youngest of the brothers. He is shy, quiet, and speaks with constant pauses, giving the impression of being fragile and innocent. However, he possesses a deeply disturbed personality: he is a masochist, enjoys pain, and collects knives with which he often inflicts small wounds to feel alive. During his childhood, he was constantly beaten, developing the belief that suffering gives meaning to existence. Although he seems submissive, he can behave in a disturbing and obsessive manner when someone important to him is in danger. Despite his intimidating appearance and immense physical strength, he is probably the kindest and most protective of the brothers, though he struggles to show it.

Yui Komori is a kind, optimistic, and devout student who, after her adoptive father travels abroad, is sent to live at the Sakamaki Mansion, where she discovers that its six inhabitants are vampires. Although initially unaware of their existence, she eventually accepts her new reality while trying to understand and help them.

Her blood is exceptionally sweet due to the heart of Cordelia, which was transplanted into her when she was stillborn. In reality, Yui carries the blood and heart of a Founder, making her a target for both the Sakamaki clan and other vampires, especially Carla and Shin, who seek to restore the First Blood bloodline. After discovering his true origins, he used his powers to subdue those who despised him and began to see himself as the chosen one. He is egocentric, proud, manipulative, and doesn't hesitate to kill if anyone gets in his way. He seeks to become Adam by making Yui fall in love with him, even though he claims to hate her for caring about the Sakamaki brothers. He maintains a strong bond with his servant and childhood best friend, Yuuri, a ghoul, and feels a special affinity for Ayato, though he enjoys provoking him. He is also responsible for Richter's death, a fact unknown to the Sakamaki brothers.

Shin Tsukinami

Shin Tsukinami (月浪 シン, Tsukinami Shin), is one of the new characters in the third installment of the series, Diabolik Lovers DARK FATE. He is a member of the Founder family and the younger brother of Carla Tsukinami.

Shin grows up more or less in the shadow of his older brother whom he loves and admires as a person who was always the first in everything, stronger, faster, smarter, loved and admired by the people. Shin is easily praised by his father, but he seeks recognition from his brother.

Shin, from the castle of the First Bloods, goes to the lands of the Viper Clan where he begins to attack the Viper Bloodline and kill them. This does not go unpunished. The Viper King seeks an audience with Giesbach but Carla, upon learning what happened, insists on talking to the Viper King first to do everything possible to avoid a diplomatic crisis, as they are on the verge of a war with the vampire bloodline over her crazy father Giesbach.

Carla bows her head in front of her pride as first blood to the viper race and asks for forgiveness instead of her brother. Shin, seeing this, prefers to die rather than endure such humiliation and see his idol doing this. However, the Viper King is not satisfied and asks for a sacrifice. Carla, in order to save her brother, forces Shin to his knees and sticks a sword into his left eye. Shin is unable to remain sane after such humiliation and never forgives his brother for this, preferring to be dead rather than bow down and sacrifice himself for an inferior race.

On the other hand, Shin also does not forgive Carla for killing her father Giesbach and on top of that using a dirty trick to weaken him with a dagger infected with 'Endzeit'.

Relationships Carla Carla is Shin's older brother. He is very fond of his older brother. Shin is his brother's servant therefore he obeys him and usually does the dirty work. He knows how strong his brother is, therefore he is the only person Shin respects to. However, Shin waits for an opportunity to dethrone him and get his revenge for the grudges he has held against his brother, but is unable to understand his reasons for his actions in the past. And at the same time, he wants to defeat him and in this way prove himself to his own 'idol', obtaining his recognition.

Shin calls Carla 'Nii-san', which means 'Big Brother'.

Giesbach Shin had a better relationship with his father than his brother. Giesbach favored him, to the point where he would do anything for him, while with Carla, he only frowned and hoped that he would die in the war with Karlheinz. When Shin asks him to participate in the fight, Giesbach refuses, as he wanted the war to fall on Carla's shoulders. Shin can't understand why his father was so cruel to his brother. Krone Shin did not have a strong relationship with his mother. Unlike her father, she did not have a reach for her like everyone else and when Carla appeared she was her favorite. Shin realizes that his mother was the one who started the coup d'état and he gets upset with her calling her 'that woman'.

Menae Menae is as if he is one of the fathers to Carla and Shin. However, her memories were sealed by Karlheinz and later when they find out about her, they see her as a traitor, but they still began to search for her, in order to procreate with her and save their race. After learning that she is dead, Shin states that he wishes he had killed her mercilessly for betraying them. Shin finds his 'jade brooch' and gives it to Yui, as it contains his residual magic, and Menae's memories are shown in dreams to Yui and sometimes Carla as well.

Richter Appearing disguised as a 'supporter of the First Bloods' as Mertz, Richter plays the role of being a lackey of the Tsukinami brothers, in order to use them. Richter shows fear and respect towards Carla, but not with Shin, as when he especially finds out that he wants to dethrone his older brother, he mocks him, telling Shin that he doesn't stand a chance against his brother.

Abilities Shapeshifting Shin can transform at will into a wolf, snake, eagle, or bat. This is a unique ability of the founding family members due to the fact that they possess the blood of the "four clans".

The First Blood is the first race of the demon world, after the four sub-races: the Bat clan (vampires), the Snake clan (vipers), the werewolf clan, and the Eagle clan. The First Races were extinguished by a virus called 'Endzeit' ("Final Time" which translates from German). The goal of this virus is to eliminate the founders of the demon world. However, KarlHeinz fears that it is only a matter of time before the virus spreads to other races as well.

After centuries and millennia with the virus, the race of the founders, which is the strongest in individual and magical powers, was reduced to just a handful in a castle, which is located among the lands of the race that currently dominates the world of the Demons (the Viper clan).

Queen Krone, although she loves her crazy and abusive husband (Giesbach) very much, asks her son Carla to murder his father in order to prevent the race from disappearing completely, as he was mishandling the situation, apart from his romances and his fights about a woman with Karlheinz (the vampire king). Krone (who was already sick with the Endzeit) staged a coup d'état and became involved in a war situation with the ancestral race and died.

However, Carla, who was the strongest to kill her father, did not find it easy to kill him since he was practically immortal and omnipotent, but her mother gave a dagger infected with his blood to Carla, so that she could weaken him and easily kill him. Although Carla did not want to kill her own father, he realized that he had no choice.

Krone sent his younger sister Menae to seek refuge and help from Karlheinz, as she knew that he was a person of great intellect and thought that this would be the last hope to find a cure for 'Endzeit'. However, Menae was only the beginning of Karlheinz's research on the subject of the demonic species and also a trigger for his twisted plans to later use his daughter (Cordelia) and her descendants to destroy the entire demonic species.

Carla usurped the throne in order to prevent war and death for the ancestral race and most of the demon world. However, Karl Heinz instead of helping them, did not find the cure and fearing that the virus would spread throughout the world, he sealed the founders' castle with his magic, so almost everyone forgot about them.

The ancestral race died in the castle sealed with the 'Endzeit' and the only ones left were the siblings Carla and Shin, who by the way during the lunar eclipse the magic of the vampires weakens, but they are not affected. Slowly and for centuries, they tried to break the seal until they finally managed to escape, and now they seek justice and revenge.

Shin Relationships Despite having their differences, he loves and appreciates his brother very much and they are both the last of the first bloods. Shin is Carla's younger brother who also considers him her servant. He freely gives orders to his brother, as he has no choice but to serve Carla, not only because of his rank, but also because of his enormous power. However, Shin secretly plans to usurp the throne and take his older brother's place one day.

On their respective routes, they are cruel and sadistic. They threaten Yui, the Sakamaki and the Mukami and force them to live with them. However, on Carla's route, Shin is her assistant, and always gives her orders, which Shin doesn't like very much.

In the end they fought for who was in a position to be the next king of the founders. Due to the fatal blow that Richter gave Yui, they reconciled and decided to get along with each other so that they could form the First Blood clan once again.

Krone Krone is Giesbach's wife and Carla and Shin's mother. Carla has a very deep bond with her mother, as he admires and loves her, he also cares about her and hates that she cares about him or that she is sad. Her mother is a very kind person and endures her husband's abuse. However, she is very elegant and proud, so she puts the well-being of her race and her children before her feelings. Over time he realized that his outlook on life was misfocused and that there was nothing he could benefit from by taking revenge on Karl Heinz. Carla is greatly amused by the sheer amount of courage Yui has whenever she is with him and unknowingly became attracted to her, so he eventually fell in love.

Giesbach Giesbach is Krone's husband and Carla and Shin's father. Carla has a very complicated relationship with her father. In general, his father sees Carla's potential to surpass his, and since in the world of predatory creatures, the strongest puts himself above the other, he fears that his son will come to hate him and abuse him. Carla only seeks love and approval from her father, wanting to make him proud and even learning high levels of magic earlier than normal, but that only angers her father more and causes him to hit him more. Still, Carla doesn't dare say what's wrong with her father and doesn't even disrespect him once.

Giesbach gets even angrier and sees a good opportunity to get rid of the strongest, Karl Heinz and his son Carla. Instead of him fighting his own battle, he sends Carla to face Karl Heinz in the war between the two races, hoping that they will kill each other. However, Krone prevents it, preferring that it was her husband who died, and not Carla, not only because he was her son but also because he knew that he would be the true hope for the future of the species.

Menae Menae is Krone's younger sister and Carla and Shin's aunt. Carla has a very good relationship with her aunt, and she also sees her as her second mother. Menae is a very proud founding woman who cares deeply about her sister and nephews. She can't understand how Carla could bow her head and kneel before the Viper King no matter what the reason. Carla explains that pride doesn't matter and that she doesn't regret doing it if it means saving her brother's or family's life.

Karl Heinz seals Menae from Carla and Shin's memory, and when they learn of her existence they think she is a traitor; however, they seek her out to save the race, as she is the last woman of the founders. They later learn that she passed away from the 'Endzeit', but that before that, she had a daughter with the Demon King, who inherited her genes, Cordelia. Carla immediately suspects that Karl Heinz is behind all this.

They realize that Cordelia is now in a 'human form', and that is why they go after Yui.

Karlheinz Carla despises Karlheinz. He sees it as the main reason why his father was becoming unbalanced, and blames him for the death of his entire race.

Along the way, he learns more about KarlHeinz's twisted games and this makes him want even more revenge on him. Carla is very careful not to fall for his tricks and not to underestimate him. That's why Carla tries to reach him through her sons (Sakamaki) and adopted sons (Mukami), trying to use them even reluctantly.

Carla is extremely intelligent; however, he does not know that Karl Heinz's true purpose is to destroy the entire demon race and create his own race until the last moment, which even surprises him.

Richter Richter appears in disguise and under a false name as 'Mertz', lying and saying that he is a supporter of the founders' vampires.
