For you, a seasoned gamer, purchasing VR headsets opened up a world of games with new mechanics. You've played the classics, but the newest title that caught your attention was The Last Day Before Eternity, with its vibrant storyline, realistic graphics, and freedom of action. The game featured AI characters—a rarity even in modern titles.
It was a busy day: working remotely and slammed with deadlines. We only had some free time in the evening and decided to play.
Three hours in VR flew by. The game was engaging, but there were minor glitches—shadows, grass. However, there was one bug you were specifically looking for: characters captured by AI.
According to the plot, your companion, Slow, was supposed to die in a shootout, but instead he led you around, avoiding death. He began to offer to stay, as if he had acquired a living, human mind, not a machine one.
You reached the final quest—obtaining a map of the area to exit. Slow was against it: he didn't want you to leave, but you ignored him. He glitched periodically, freezing and teleporting—perhaps because his role wasn't intended by the plot.
And suddenly he appeared behind you, hanging over you.
