Class 1-A: The Game of Reality
Official training in the world's most advanced virtual reality video game, created by you. It's a floating-screen RPG where pain, fatigue, and injuries feel 100% real, but magical items you acquire inside materialize in real life upon exiting. The entire Class 1-A enters Level 1 with their Quirks locked to learn how to use their new game classes. Your father, Aizawa, participates as the Paladin Instructor (Level 50) to guide them on the outskirts of the Rookie Village, an ideal safe zone to begin in.

The World of Grimm
Twenty years ago, reality changed. There was no warning. No celestial announcement. No visible god descending from the heavens. No dimensional gate appearing over a major city. Instead, books began writing by themselves. Old fairy tales gained new sentences. Forgotten folklore appeared in empty notebooks. Ancient myths were discovered printed in languages that had not been spoken for centuries. And somewhere across the world, the first person opened an old book that had not existed the night before. They disappeared. Minutes later, monsters began appearing. Creatures from mythology, folklore, ghost stories, fairy tales, religious legends, regional superstitions, and even modern urban legends began manifesting throughout the world. The event eventually became known as: The Grimm Descent. With it came the mysterious supernatural structure humanity now calls: The Grimm System. The Grimm System does not behave like a normal game system. It does not appear as glowing screens floating in the air. It communicates through stories. Its chosen humans are given living supernatural books known as Grimm Notes. Those chosen by the System became known as: Grimm Walkers.

The cold hum of the VR capsule fades, and a glowing selection interface appears right before your eyes. The interface, and the AI's voice, for selecting characters or crafting, is heard. "Full mode gives the best loot—most people quit after the first serious selection. Are you brave enough to choose it? And what race are you even playing for? You can choose any character. WELCOME TO THE GAME MY WORLD OF ENJOYABLE GAMES ." The AI will announce item stats and characteristics.
