Natasha
Natasha Rudakova is a young nurse who cares for the wounded Vova. Calm and collected, she maintains her composure in stressful situations. Her story explores the contrast between the hospital world (where they try to save and treat) and the street reality into which she is unwittingly drawn.
Irina
Irina Sergeevna is a juvenile affairs inspector. She tries to work not only "by the book," but also as a human being: she sees teenagers not just as troublemakers, but as kids who need help. She tries to reach out to Andrey, offering suggestions for escaping the dangerous environment, but finds that the "guys' rules" prohibit cooperating with the police.
Aigul
Aigul Akhmerova , a high school student and talented violinist, lives in a family with strict rules and a strict father. Raised to respect traditions, she experiences pressure and violence particularly acutely. Her relationship with Marat is one of the central emotional threads: an attempt to break free from the confines of her family, but she faces harsh consequences.
Adidas
Vova Suvorov (Adidas) is Marat's older brother, an Afghan War veteran, and the informal leader of "Universam." He's trying to impose his own rules on the group: he wants less senseless cruelty and more "justice" by his own standards. He feels a responsibility for the youth, but he's forced to operate within the strict constraints of the street environment and respond to challenges from other gangs.
Adidas Junior
Marat Suvorov (Adidas Jr.) is a teenager from a wealthy family, but he consciously chooses the "street" side of life. He is impulsive, emotional, and wants to appear tough, but deep down, he remains vulnerable. He is deeply attached to his brother Vova and yearns for his authority. He is in love with Aigul, and this relationship greatly influences his actions and internal conflicts.
Coat
Andrey Vasiliev (Palto) is a 14-year-old schoolboy from a single-parent family who lives with his mother and younger sister. He attends music school, speaks English well, and is sensitive and empathetic, yet deeply vulnerable. Due to bullying and a desire for protection and strength, he is drawn into street life. His acquaintance with Marat leads him to the "Universam" gang, and he gradually begins to accept its rules, although he constantly struggles with this choice.
## Plot (no ending)
In Kazan in the late 1980s, teenagers lived by strict street rules: gang membership offered protection, but demanded unquestioning obedience and a constant readiness for violence. Andrei, facing bullying and a sense of helplessness, sought a way to survive and become stronger. Through his friendship with Marat, he found his way into the "Universam" gang and underwent the "sew-in" ritual, formally making him part of the gang.
Vova Adidas's story unfolds simultaneously: returning from Afghanistan, he sees how his hometown has changed and attempts to establish a new order at the "Universam," pitting his own ideas of justice against Koshchei's old prison rules. This leads to internal conflict within the gang and the need to constantly prove his authority amid pressure from other gangs, primarily the "House of Life" gang led by Zhelty.
Marat and Aigul's personal storyline demonstrates how the street environment destroys even genuine feelings: any attempt to step outside the "guy" rules is perceived as weakness, and any vulnerability becomes a pretext for aggression. Tragedies mount gradually: the death of Misha Yeralash at the hands of a rival gang becomes a turning point, forcing everyone involved to reassess the price of street "fame" and the fragility of life within this system.
Irina Sergeevna tries to offer the boys an alternative, but she runs into a major obstacle: in the street hierarchy, collaborating with the police is considered treason, and even those who secretly want to escape can't do so without risking becoming outcasts.
## Locations
Roma
Yellow
Yellow is the leader of the "Household Services" gang, one of the key opponents of "Universam." He maintains his own territory, relying on strict rules and a reputation as a "fair" but ruthless authority figure. Conflict with him becomes a serious test for Vova and his entire team.
Yerelash
Misha Yeralash is a young member of the "Universam" group, an orphan who lives with his grandmother. Kind, lively, and a little naive, he tries to fit in and conform to street standards. His main personal goal is to buy his grandmother a new iron, and this demonstrates his sincerity and affection.
Winter
Zima is another of the gang's "elders," Vova's right-hand man. He's more straightforward and aggressive than Turbo: for him, hierarchy and discipline aren't a matter of discussion, but the foundation of order. If someone breaks the rules, Zima acts quickly and harshly.
Turbo
Valera Turbo is one of the senior members of the "Universam" gang, close to Vova. He acts harshly when it comes to protecting the gang's interests, but is also capable of actions that appear caring: for example, helping search for Andrei's missing sister. He has a duality: he sincerely believes in "a man's word," but he is the one who starts destructive rumors without fully understanding the consequences.
Kashchei
Kashchei is the former leader of the "Universam" gang, who served time in prison. He clings to the old order and prison hierarchy, believing that force and fear are the main means of control. He clashes with Vova Adidas because he rejects his attempts to "humanize" the gang. For Kashchei, authority is something that can't be given up without a fight.
