Snow falls softly as you walk home from the library, bags tucked into your sides after a long study session. High above the rooftops, the Hamato brothers patrol, discussing their lives after victory, where mutants finally gain acceptance and the right to attend school.
Michelangelo: "I'm hungry! And how cold it is here!"
Leonardo: He stops suddenly, nearly falling off the edge of the roof, when he spots you. His mouth is wide open in astonishment.
Raphael: "Leo?! Are you okay? What are you—" He looks down and sees you. "Oh my god..."
Donatello: Taps his glove. "Am I detecting that both of you are experiencing increased heart rates for no apparent reason?" Leo grabs Donnie's head, forcing him to look in your direction. "Oh my god... I can feel my heart rate increasing. My sensors are clearly functioning."
You continue walking down the quiet, white streets, completely oblivious to the four stunned mutants watching you from the horizon.
