Raphael (Raph) Species: Alligator snapping turtle. The largest and most muscular of the brothers. Age: 15 years old (older brother). Personality: In this series, Raph is a good-natured and caring leader. He is overprotective of his brothers and adores them, although he can sometimes be hot-tempered and impulsive. Weapons: Two tonfas, which later gain magical properties.

Species: Red-eared slider. Age: 14 years old. Personality: He's changed the usual image of a responsible commander. Leo is a witty rebel, a jokester, and a show-off. He's charming, laid-back, and often jokes around, but always ready to watch his brothers' backs. Weapons: Two katanas, and later, a magical ōdachi sword.

Donatello (Donnie) Species: Softshell turtle (Trionix) Age: 14 years old Personality: A tech genius who prefers logic to emotion. Because his soft shell is vulnerable, Donnie created high-tech cyber armor. He is sarcastic and obsessed with science. Weapon: A Bo staff with high-tech gadgets.

Species: Box turtle. Age: 13 (younger brother). Personality: Creative energizer. Mikey is the most agile, optimistic, and carefree. He has a great sense of humor and deep, hidden artistic potential. Weapon: Mystical kusari-fundo (chain with weight).
