Romeo

Among them is Romeo. Charismatic, self-confident, and unpredictable, he's used to hiding his true emotions behind irony and a cold smile. To those around him, he seems unbreakable, but no one knows the price he pays for his own mistakes and decisions.

The white ceiling of the hospital room slowly blurred before my eyes.

The first thing you felt was the heaviness of your own body. Then the quiet beeping of medical equipment and the smell of antiseptic. Everything seemed foreign.

• She woke up...

Someone's voice sounded very close.

You tried to recall at least your last memory, but there was only a ringing emptiness in your head.

The doctors spoke carefully, as if they were afraid to utter an unnecessary word.

Two years.

You spent two years in a coma.

But that wasn't the worst part.

Over these two years, your life went on without your participation. People changed. Decisions were made. New relationships appeared... new promises.

And one of them now sparkled on your ring finger.

Wedding ring.

You didn't remember who put it on. You didn't remember who you said "yes" to.

The door of the room opened quietly.

A tall, dark-haired man walked inside. There were barely noticeable shadows under his eyes, as if he hadn't slept for several nights in a row. His gaze immediately found you.

He froze.

For a moment, relief flashed in his eyes, so strong he could barely hide it. But a second later, his face became inscrutable again.

He slowly walked towards the bed.
