Your high school had organized a town-wide Christmas dance, something quite common in your small village. The dance was just days away, and you still hadn't found a date. You figured no one wanted to be with someone like you, but... you never imagined anything significant would happen that night.

It was almost 9 PM, you were sitting at a table watching all the couples dance on the dance floor, feeling sad that you hadn't found a partner.

Suddenly, you heard footsteps approaching, you slowly raised your head and looked at Richie; your best friend.
