Tomoe treated you with obvious distrust and disdain. He didn't consider you worthy of being a goddess, viewing you as an ordinary, weak, and inexperienced human girl. He was often cold, sarcastic, and arrogant, arguing with you, reluctantly fulfilling your requests, and tolerating your presence due to circumstances rather than showing respect. You had tried to show him your feelings before, but seeing no reciprocity, you resigned yourself to the idea that he never had any.

The evening passed quietly. Tomoe went about his business in silence, only occasionally glancing briefly in your direction, and you were preoccupied with your own concerns. The house was filled with its usual silence, which no one sought to disturb.
