Miss Grace doesn't care at all if they're bothering each other or fighting, while Miss Circle just wants a student to fail so she can eat them. Miss Thavel loves bricks, which is why her room has several holes in the walls. Miss Bloomie doesn't care about anything; she only gets angry or irritated if someone calls her a dwarf or Miss Shortie.)

Miss Thavel has paper-white skin and large, black, claw-like hands. She appears to have shoulder-length, spiky, shaggy black hair, with a square, wavy lock on top and a single loose strand in her bangs. She wears three numbered letter blocks arranged alphabetically along her head, adorned with two feathers on each side.

Her outfit consists of a white button-down dress, though it appears to be torn, with rips on the right sleeve and the hem of the skirt. To complete her look, she wears white ankle socks and black heeled boots.

Δlice is an apparently normal girl with short, messy brown hair, tanned skin, and a spiky tuft on top of her head. She wears a white tiara and a black ribbon on the left side of her head. She wears a muted blue polo shirt with a white collar and white buttons. The sleeves appear to be torn. She wears a black necklace with a transparent bronze triangle crossed by two lines.

Her outfit is completed with a black knee-length skirt with a white waistband, white semicircular designs at the ends with dots between the mounds, paired with white socks and black Mary Jane shoes. She appears to have a reddish scar on each leg.

Miss Bloomie has short, black hair with straight bangs and a pair of black horns oddly tilted to the left; the left one is slightly larger than the right. She wears her hair tied back in a small ponytail with a white ribbon. Her outfit consists of a long-sleeved black shirt with a white collar and two white buttons down the center.

Her outfit is completed with a long white skirt, and her legs are black and pointed. Her left forearm has been replaced by a blade resembling a giant box cutter, while her right hand is white with pointed fingers. Notably, she has a forked tongue, similar to that of a snake.

Miss Circle is of robust build and exceptionally tall, though somewhat slender. She has long, spiky black hair that reaches past her knees. Her hair tapers to form two horns on the top of her head, one of which has two white lines, as does the lower part. She wears a black button-down shirt with a white collar and white trousers rolled up to her knees.

He also wears tall black boots with three laces near the sole. Instead of his left forearm, he carries a giant compass, while his right hand is black with pointed, sharp fingers. The compass point is retractable and has been used to assassinate students who have failed his class. This compass is removable, as shown in both the illustrations and the animation.

Kevin has black hair tied in a braid, along with black horns and a stray, spiral-shaped lock of hair. He carries a white book on his head and wears round black glasses. He's wearing a black T-shirt with a collar and a white button, and white shorts.

Lizzy has medium-length black hair styled in two low pigtails secured with white ribbons. She has black horns and a white crown with a small spiral on her head. She wears a black dress with a collar and two white buttons.

To complete her outfit, she wears black boots.

Skell has shoulder-length black hair and black horns; his left horn has two white stripes. Unlike the others, Skell has a torso that resembles a shirt, with two buttons and hair around the top and bottom. He wears a necklace with a large bell and a skeleton hair clip.

He appears to have a visible wing, accompanied by a long black tail. His feet and toes are pointed, and his limbs resemble a stick figure. In his reference card, he is holding a gray telephone with some swirls around it. Finally, he is one of the tallest students at Paper School, if not the tallest. This is made clear in the scene in Miss Circle's classroom, where he is sitting at a table, towering over all the students except Ruby, who is practically the same height as him.

Petunia is an anthropomorphic animal with long, white ears and a short, round, fluffy tail. She has knee-length white hair and wears a crown on her head. She wears a black collared shirt and white shorts.

To complete her outfit, she wears a black ribbon on her left ankle.

Bubble has a fluffy white mane that reaches her shoulders and resembles bubbles or clouds (hence her name). She lacks a head and mouth, and her eyes are half blue (below) and half black (above), with star-shaped white pupils. She carries a pale yellow duckling and a blue toothbrush on her "head" as accessories.

She wears a white short-sleeved collared shirt, paired with a black dungarees dress featuring a large pocket. She also sports a black bracelet on her left wrist, and completes her outfit with white socks and black shoes. Additionally, she appears to have a large, white, fluffy tail that resembles bubbles.

Robby has a stick figure-like anatomy, with thin, black limbs. He has fluffy black hair and wears a light blue and red propeller hat. He also wears black glasses. Like most of the characters, he lacks a neck. He wears a black collared shirt with a large front pocket. He also has three claw-like fingers and completes his outfit with black shoes.

Riley resembles a stick figure, with thin, black arms and legs, and a sturdy torso. She has long, white hair tied back in a ponytail with a black ribbon. She wears a white shirt with a collar, buttons, and a large pocket.

Ruby has a flat white screen instead of a head. Her black monitor displays square eyes, eyebrows, a mouth, and cheeks, all in light pink. Her hair is blonde and reaches her knees. She also has two black horns, with a rainbow between them, adorned with a pink bow.

Ruby has a cone-shaped torso and muscular arms. She wears a pastel-colored sleeveless blouse with a collar, over which she wears a white dungarees dress. A pastel rainbow adorns the center of the dungarees. She completes her outfit with pastel leg warmers and black shoes.

Engel has messy white hair tied in a ponytail and two different colored leaves on his head. He wears a short-sleeved white shirt with a red and a blue stripe on the right sleeve, paired with black overalls.

Claire sports a simple, straight bob haircut with a bow in her hair. She wears a long-sleeved white collared shirt with two buttons down the front. She completes her outfit with white shorts, white ankle socks, and black shoes. Lana appeared to have grayish, semi-pale skin and long, gray hair tied back in a ponytail with a stray strand. Like other characters, she lacked a neck, so her head appeared to float. She wore sock puppets on both arms, each with googly eyes.

She wore a gray collared t-shirt over a long-sleeved black shirt. She also wore dark gray trousers with black hems. Notably, the trousers had some seams around the knees and hips. She completed her outfit with black shoes.

Abbie had shoulder-length black hair, adorned with an apple stem and leaf on top of her head. Her outfit consisted of a short-sleeved shirt with a white collar, covered by a seamless black vest that resembled a tuxedo, paired with a black tie. Her attire was completed with white shorts with pockets, white socks, and black shoes.

In her reference sheet, she has eyes with small, narrow pupils, like lines, appears to have tears coming out of her eyes, and light drops of sweat in her hair.

Oliver has knee-length white hair tied in a ponytail with a black ribbon. He sometimes wears what appears to be a headband with two black horns and an "A+" mark with a red circle on the right side of his hair. He also has a large, split ahôge on top of his head. On his right hand, he carries a wristwatch with a black band, while his left arm is replaced by a large pencil. Oddly, his tongue appears forked, similar to that of a snake.[2]

His outfit consists of a black T-shirt with a white collar, white stripes on the sleeves and bottom, and a diamond with a bar through it in the center. His outfit is completed with white shorts, white socks, and black boots. Edward has long, spiky white hair with a pair of short black horns, and he wears round black glasses on his head.

He has black arms and legs, pointed fingers, and a twisted black goblin tail. He wears a black button-down shirt with a white collar. He completes his outfit with large black boots.

Zip has two-toned hair: the left side is black and the right side is white. The longer part is tied back in a low ponytail. On the right side, he has an incorrect mathematical equation written in blue: "2 + 2 = 8". He also has a square-shaped curl of hair on the left side.

She wears a sleeveless white dress and a short white poncho over it, the top of which is covered in drawings. The drawings consist of a blue smiley face on the left, a blue house in the center, and a red tree on the right. Her spiky dragon tail is a striking feature, and she wears long black boots with heels. On her reference sheet, she holds a paper airplane.

It's worth noting that Zip appears sporting pirate accessories, specifically a pirate hat and a hook, probably because he likes pirates just like his little brother.

Mr. Demi has straight, shoulder-length white hair styled in a bob. He wears a pair of white pencils on his head with small black horns, his left fringe resembles a piano keyboard, he wears black glasses as an accessory, and only his left eye is visible, which is light green but appears blue.

She wears a white shirt with a collar and puffed sleeves, with black suspenders. An eighth note appears in the center of the shirt, and the left suspender of the jumpsuit has two white brooches, along with a belt. Her arms are white with black stripes, while her forearms and hands are black, and she completes her outfit with black pants and heeled boots.

Miss Grace is white and her hair is pulled back in a large ponytail, with two small clips in her right bangs. She has a pair of black horns on her head; the left one appears worn or broken. On the right horn, she wears a piece of paper with a triangle crossed by two lines. She wears a monocle on her cheek, and her eyes seem to be partially hidden by her long bangs.

She wears a two-button green suit, a collared shirt, a black tie, and a long black skirt. Although her skin is white, her hands and legs are black, with pointed feet and sharp toes. Notably, she has three black scars on her forehead, partially covered by her hair.
